Jamia Hamdard is a famous Indian university that began in 1989 by merging different universities under the Hamdard National Foundation. It has 10 institutes on a big campus in South Delhi. The University has done really well in building infrastructure, publishing quality work, and getting patents, and it's great at teaching and research.

One thing it's really good at is pharmaceutical sciences; Jamia is ranked 1 in the country for that. Jamia is 1 in the Pharmacy Category and ranked 33 in the Medical Category by NIRF. It gets money for research and works with groups like DRDO to make medicines.

Jamia Hamdard School of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (SPER)

SPER was founded as Hamdard College of Pharmacy in 1972. It has always been seen as the best institution in rankings. SPER has a long-standing reputation for delivering excellent pharmaceutical education in India. It is approved and recognized by AICTE and PCI.

B Pharm Jamia Hamdard Admission

The course spans four years with a total of 120 seats. It is divided into 60 General and 60 Self-Financing Scheme (SFS) seats, which also include seats reserved for NRI/Sponsored candidates. Eligibility requires completion of the 12th standard with at least 50% marks. They should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. Admission to the B.Pharm program is based on performance in NEET or Paper-1 of JEE (Main).

Additionally, there is an option for lateral entry to B.Pharm II Year, which has a duration of three years and offers 12 available seats. Eligibility for this lateral entry requires a Diploma in Pharmacy. 50% marks in aggregate and completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology is needed. Admission for this lateral entry program is based on merit derived from marks obtained in the Diploma in Pharmacy. Candidates need to submit their D. Pharm results for consideration, and if seats are available, admission may be offered.

Jamia Hamdard M Pharm Admission

Candidates shall have possessed B. Pharm. with at least 55% marks. Preference is given to GPAT-qualified candidates. Selection is based on the GPAT merit, followed by B. Pharm Percentage. Scholarships may be available for GPAT-qualified students. Eligible applicants can submit the application forms by the last date of Jamia Hamdard's admission.

Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (HIMSR)

HIMSR provides admission to the MBBS program at the UG level. The program lasts for four and a half years. It has a required rotating internship. The program has a total of 150 seats available, which are divided into various categories. The NEET-UG merit list determines the Jamia Hamdard MBBS admission procedure, and the eligibility requirements follow the guidelines set by NEET-UG. Half of the seats in the reservation policy are set aside for candidates from the Muslim minority.

Candidates who are chosen will have to go through a medical examination carried out by the institute's Medical Board. DGHS will make the final decisions about their medical fitness. Jamia Hamdard School of Nursing Sciences and Allied Health (SNSAH)

Rufaida College of Nursing was set up in 1983. It has the aim of encouraging girls from weak communities to choose nursing. They offer many nursing programs. They have diploma programs, UG, PG, and doctoral degrees. Everyone praises the college's education and clinical training. The Indian Nursing Council recognizes it. Jamia Hamdard GNM Admission (Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery)

The Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (DGNM) program at  Jamia Hamdard has 70 seats and three years. The  Jamia Hamdard eligibility criteria include 10+2 with English. The minimum mark in the qualifying examination should be 40%. Candidates with vocational ANM courses or healthcare science backgrounds are also eligible. The selection process is based on merit. Candidates must be medically fit and able to communicate in English, with an age limit of 35 years.

Jamia Hamdard B.Sc Nursing Admission

The BSc Nursing program takes 60 students annually. It spans 4 years. To be eligible, candidates must fulfill specific admission criteria.

  • They should be at least 17 years old and come from State Open Schools or NIOS backgrounds with Science subjects and English proficiency.
  • Additionally, they need to have passed their 12th-grade examination in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
  • They should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Proficiency in English and good medical fitness are also required.

Jamia Hamdard Post Basic B.Sc Nursing program offers 30 seats. It is 2 years.

To be eligible, candidates must hold a DGNM. You must have completed 10+2 or Senior Secondary/Intermediate from CBSE or an equivalent board. Additionally, they should be registered as RNs and RMs under the State Nursing Council, exhibit proficiency in English, and meet medical fitness requirements. Jamia Hamdard MSc Nursing:

The MSc Nursing program admits 25 students. It is 2 years. Candidates interested in applying must have a B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized institution. They should also be registered as a Nurse and Midwife with any State Nursing Registration Council and hold at least one year of work experience in the nursing field.

Admission is based on the merit of the qualifying examination. Notably, no written test is required for admission under Foreign National/Jamia Hamdard NRI Admission/Sponsored seats. Additionally, there's a one-time Clinical Affiliation Fee of Rs. 5000 applicable to DGNM and undergraduate students.

Jamia Hamdard Department of Physiotherapy

The Physiotherapy Department started in 1998. It teaches both UG and PG programs. These programs cover various types like Orthopaedics, Neurology, Cardiopulmonary, Sports, and others. The teachers are well-educated. They have labs for research where students learn by doing experiments. Also, there's a place where students practice what they've learned.

Jamia Hamdard BPT Admission

The BPT program at Jamia Hamdard offers 50 seats, which also cater to NRI/Sponsored candidates. It's a four-year course that includes a mandatory six-month internship. Jamia Hamdard Department of Paramedical Science

The Paramedical Sciences Department started in 2012 to teach people about healthcare. It is now part of the University's Nursing and Health School. Jamia Hamdard B.Sc Medical Laboratory Techniques

To apply, you should have passed the 12th standard exam. Jamia Hamdard M Tech Admission

Regular M.Tech. Courses are offered with a total of 20 seats, including 18 seats for general candidates and 2 seats reserved for industry/NRI-sponsored candidates. Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is a 4 years full-time program. Interested students must have completed the 12th board exams in the science stream with PCMB subjects as mandatory. Selections will be based on NEET UG scores. Non-NEET candidates will be selected based on qualifying exams and interview rounds.
