Eligibility Criteria/Cut-off for Admissions 2020

National Institute of Technology, New Delhi is an autonomous college which is also known as NIT, New Delhi which was founded by MHRD in 2010 located in Delhi. The College is approved by AICTE, recognized by UGC. The NIT Admissions will be based on the candidates score obtained in National Level Entrance Exam. NIT Offers under Graduate Course BE/B Tech and Post Graduate Course ME/M Tech in diverse specializations.

  • Admissions for BE/B Tech will be based on the Candidates score acquired in JEE Entrance Exam and Candidates must have passed 10+2 Exam with minimum aggregate marks to get eligible for admission.
  • Admissions for ME/M Tech will be based on the Candidates aggregate marks obtained in bachelor’s degree BE/B Tech and Must secure valid score in GATE Entrance Exam.
  • Qualified Candidates for B Tech Course must appear for counseling with relevant educational proofs and the counseling will be organized by JOSAA (Joint seat allocation authority)
  • Candidates who are qualified in GATE Entrance Exam must appear for CCMT Counseling based on the Score admissions will be granted.

National Institute of Technology, New Delhi offers UG Course BE/B Tech in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics and Electronics & Communication Engineering. Candidates should be eligible with 75% aggregate marks in 10+2 Exam (Physics, Chemistry and Math’s) 65% aggregate marks for reserved category. Selection of the candidates will be based on JEE main Valid Score. Qualified Candidates must appear for counseling with relevant educational proofs and the counseling will be organized by JOSAA (Joint seat allocation authority)

NIT, New Delhi ME/M Tech Admission Process

National Institute of Technology, New Delhi offers PG Course ME/M Tech in 6 Specializations for the duration of 2 years. Candidates must be qualified in bachelor’s degree BE/B Tech with 60% aggregate marks (55% for reserved category).Selection of the Candidates will be based on GATE Valid Score. Candidates who are qualified in GATE Entrance Exam must appear for CCMT Counseling with relevant educational certificates for document verification purpose.

Candidates who are looking to apply for BE/B Tech Course should visit the official site of JEE Main and must fill up the application form to appear for entrance exam. After the result declaration candidates who are secured in entrance exam must visit the official site of JOSAA to apply for counseling.

Candidates who are looking to take admission for ME/M Tech must register through online by visiting the official site of GATE to appear for entrance exam and after the results qualified candidates must appear for CCMT Counseling .Application fees is INR 1500 for General Category and INR 750 for Women and reserved Category and fees can be paid through Net Banking/Credit/Debit Card

Hi,

NIT gives admissions through JEE Mains. Admissions are one through counselling which happens online where students have to register and follow the steps mentioned. This college is public university which accepts admissions through JEE Mains only.

B.Tech admission at National Institute of Technology Delhi:

  • Minimum of 50% aggregate score in 10+2 in science stream is mandatory for National Institute of Technology Delhi admission.
  • A valid score in JEE Mains entrance examination is a must for admission at National Institute of Technology Delhi. 
  • Interested candidate can apply for the course online/offline for National Institute of Technology Delhi admission.

  • B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering for General in OR is 3421 and in CR is 5246
  • B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering for Schedule Caste in OR is 785 and in CR is 981
  • B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering for Schedule Tribe in OR is 342 and in CR is 599
  • B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering for ST Person with Disability in OR is 37 and in CR is 37
