Indian Institute of Technology Delhi Cutoff

IIT Delhi 2026 expected cut-off

Title File
IIT Delhi Cutoff

IIT Delhi is one of the finest engineering institutes in the nation, and its JEE Advanced cutoff is very strict. It changes every year depending on the category—Gen, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, PwD, and course-wise. Also, the cutoff ranks differ substantially in the category. Counselling candidates must attain the cutoff ranks set by the council in their respective categories.

A few of the factors that may require adjustment include the exam's difficulty level, the number of candidates who turned up, the number of seats available, and the trend set in the previous year. Finally, it is stated that a harder examination can result in a lower cutoff, while a larger number of applicants can increase the cutoff. It also means that when there are fewer seats offered for students, the cutoff increases.

IIT Delhi JEE Advanced Cut off 2026 is determined by one or the other of the considerations named above. When the exam difficulty level is high, the cutoffs are low because few students are able to achieve the given cutoffs. The number of seats proposed for each course and category also affects the cutoff quantity in a big way as well. A smaller number of seats can cause high cutoffs, and a large number of seats can cause low cutoffs.

IIT Delhi CSE Cut Off 2025

IT Delhi JEE Advanced cutoff for CSE fluctuates as per the Round, course, and year of admission. The possibility of more applicants increases the cutoff, whilst the availability of seats for CSE at IIT Delhi can again decide the cutoff. Also, IIT Delhi cut off 2026 CSE depends on the particular category to which a student belongs, namely General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PWD.

IIT Delhi Civil Engineering Cut Off 2025

The most important thing that determines high cutoffs could include the number of students who applied and the number of vacancies for admission. This way, by going through the cutoffs of the previous years, you get to know what to expect. Moreover, cutoffs also differ by category, and it is also possible to see lower values in Round 5 than in the earlier ones.

The criteria for qualifying through the JEE Advanced cutoff in IIT Delhi in the General category may also remain in flux due to various reasons. Specifically, there has been an overall trend of improving cutoffs for most branches – a phenomenon most particularly noticeable in the popularity-enjoying Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). However, the cutoffs can come down or go up depending on several reasons, as discussed below. To have a better chance of attaining a good rank, you need to prepare adequately, practice sufficiently, and be properly timed and informed.
