Delhi University is one of the premier educational institutions in the country and takes thousands of students every year. Among the most crucial elements of a student's admission procedures is the cutoff list. The cutoff means the student must obtain the Minimum Cutoff for DU in CUET, to be eligible for admission.
For undergraduate courses, CUET scores are primarily taken into consideration by the DU. Class 12 marks also play an integral part in the selection process. In the case of PG Courses, it accepts CUET PG scores. Once cutoff lists come out, admission seats are assigned to students through the required score. Delhi University CUET Cutoffs are declared round after round based on seat availability and applicants.
The Delhi University Admission through CUET cutoffs is very simple. Applicants who meet all the requirements of the cutoff have to register on the DU CSAS Portal for seat allotment. Once the student gets registered, they will be then asked to select the preferred colleges and courses. The candidate will be considered to be eligible for documentation verification for admission only after accepting the seat accompanied by an admission fee.
In order to be shortlisted for top colleges such as St Stephen's College, Miranda House, and Hindu College, the score should be in the range of 700 to 800 marks in CUET.
The admission process usually begins in May or June of each year. Last year, over 3,00,000 students had applied for UG programs. The acceptance rate in DU is around 64%, which means only top-scoring applicants get a seat.
The CUET cutoff for DU colleges varies based on the course and college. Top colleges like Miranda House and SRCC have higher cutoffs, around 770, while other colleges like Deshbandhu and Sri Venkateswara have lower cutoffs for specific courses.
