TJEE - Tripura Joint Entrance Examination

Tripura Joint Entrance Examination happens to be state level entrance exam conducted by the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE). Candidates can seek admissions for different undergraduate agriculture, paramedical, engineering, and other professional courses through the exam. TJEE 2021 will be conducted in April 2021, and the registration portal shall be open in February month in online mode. TJEE 2021 examination mode is offline that is pen and paper-based.

Aspirants who are willing to apply need to fulfill the eligibility criteria. Only then can they fill the application form in the online mode. On successful submission, candidates shall proceed with the admit card. A further step by step process goes like TJEE 2021 Exam, TJEE 2021 results, and TJEE 2021 counseling and final admissions will be made. The exam comprises 4 papers, and each paper will be conducted for a duration of 2 hours.

TJEE 2021 Exam Date

Usually, the month of April Tripura JEE exam will be scheduled, and the prior 2 months application form will be released, which will be open for 3 weeks. Before the due date, applicants need to fill the application form to sit for the exam. TJEE 2021 Eligibility criteria

Various factors are affecting the eligibility for Tripura JEE 2021. Applicants appearing for TJEE should satisfy the eligibility as prescribed by the TJEE board. Only such qualified candidates can apply for TJEE by filling the application form. The eligibility criteria set for Tripura JEE are mentioned below.

  • Applicant must be an Indian citizen, and their parents need to be the permanent resident of that particular state, Tripura being not less than 10 years.
  • Candidates whose parents are state government employees posted outside Tripura are eligible to apply for Tripura JEE.
  • Children of the parents who are deputed as the central govt. Officer and served a period of 3 years continuously in Tripura state are eligible and can appear for the exam.
  • Candidates of their parents being wards of Ex-Servicemen staying in Tripura will be eligible and to apply.
  • Children of Defence Personnel (Air Force/Navy/Army) from the state Tripura resided for not less than 5 years shall be eligible.
  • This is an entrance exam for engineering students whose qualification eligibility must have passed the 10+2 board of Tripura, keeping Mathematics/ Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as main subjects.

TJEE 2021 Application Form & fees

Application for Tripura JEE 2021 needs to be filled online, and it can be availed from the official site of TBJEE. Applicants must check that they fall into the eligibility standard set by the conducting authority to apply and proceed with the admission process. Ensure the filled information in the application is correct since it is challenging to make changes if anything went wrong. There is a step by step procedure given below. Once the applicants undergo these steps will be considered, and their application form for Tripura JEE will be accepted.

Step 1: Tripura JEE Registration

Applicants will go to TBJEE official site and enter their E-Mail ID and Phone Number. Then click on submit once the registration is successful, candidates shall log in by using the registered email-ID and mobile number to get the User Reference ID.

Step 2: Edit Profile

Now login to your profile, In the Edit Profile Form, fill all the details. Else applicants will not be able to fill the application form.     Keep the required documents in hand while editing the profile documents required are:

  • Scanned Copy of Signature (one)
  • Scanned Copy of Photograph (one)
  • Scanned Copy of Category/Caste Certificate (if applicable) (one)
  • Scanned Copy of Ration Card/ BPL Certificate (if applicable) (one)

Step 3: Fill Application Form of Tripura JEE

Log on to the official site to fill in all the relevant information of the candidate's personal details constituting Name, Address, Age, Phone Number, etc. Educational details of Class X, XII, and other related information. Make sure to fill the preferred examination center, and according to the availability, centers will be allotted. Before submitting the filled form, candidates can correct/edit the information and finally click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 4: Payment of Application Fee

The application fee of Tripura JEE 2021 shall differ based on certain categories and has been mentioned below. The application fee can be paid through Net banking/Credit/Debit card. The fee paid is non-refundable.

TJEE 2021 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

Exam Pattern of TJEE

To appear for the exam, it is more important for candidates to know regarding exam pattern of Tripura JEE 2021. This might help candidates be familiar with the number of questions, weightage, and exam duration.

  • Number of Papers: It constitutes 4 papers with different subjects like Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  • Language of the Paper: English, Bengali.
  • Duration of the Exam: 2 hours for each paper, usually 2 papers per day scheduled in the morning and afternoon session.
  • Type of Questions: paper constitutes Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Number of Questions: 50 questions in each of the 4 papers
  • Marking Scheme: For every correct answer, 2 marks will be awarded, and no deducting of marks for incorrect answers.

TJEE 2021 Admit Card

After submitting the application form admit card of Tripura JEE 2021 will be automatically generated. It will be available on the official site of TBJEE through their email ID, and password candidates can download the same. No hard copy or a printed card will be sent to students. In the prior few days for the exam admit card will be released, personal information and examination details such as candidate name, time, date, photograph, and exam venue.

  • Visit the TBJEE official site.
  • Find the link to TJEE admit card and click.
  • Enter the login credentials – email ID and password
  • TJEE admit card will be displayed. Check the information and download it for future correspondence  

TJEE 2021 Results & Score Card

In June, Tripura JEE 2021 results will be announced online, and the shortlisted candidates will further attend counseling for admission purposes. Results of TJEE will be released by TBJEE, the exam conducting authority, on the official website. Candidates will not receive any hard copy of the results. Once the results of TJEE has been declared, merit will be released by the board, and qualified aspirants will then be eligible to appear for counseling of TJEE 2021.

Steps to obtain TJEE Results 2021

  • On the official website, click on the TJEE results link.
  • In the appeared window, enter the registered number and DOB.
  • Click on the “Submit” button.
  • TJEE results will be displayed on the screen
  • The resulting window shows obtained marks and the merit of the candidate in the qualifying exam.
  • For future reference, it is better to download the TJEE result or scorecard

TJEE 2021 Counselling & Admission

Aspirants can clear the cut-off marks of TJEE shall be in the merit list, which is prepared based on the candidates' score following the rank. Seats to the students are distributed through counseling of TJEE among the eligible candidates. Counseling is basically a process of verifying the candidate’s documents by the concerned authority as the last step for final admissions. In the online mode, TBJEE releases the counseling call letters. In-person aspirants should be present during the allocation of seats.
