TJEE - Tripura Joint Entrance Examination

Tripura Joint Entrance Examination happens to be state level entrance exam conducted by Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE). Through the exam candidates can seek admissions for different under graduate agriculture, paramedical, engineering and other professional courses. TJEE 2021 will be conducted in the month of April 2021 and the registration portal shall be open in the February month in online mode. TJEE 2021 examination mode is offline that is pen and paper based.

Aspirants willing to apply need to fulfil the eligibility criteria only then can fill the application form in the online mode. On successful submission candidates shall proceed with the admit card further step by step process goes like TJEE 2021 Exam, TJEE 2021 results and TJEE 2021 counselling and final admissions will be done. The exam comprises of 4 papers and each paper will be conducted for duration of 2 hours.

TJEE 2021 Exam Date

Usually in the month of April Tripura JEE exam will be scheduled and prior 2 months application form will be released which will be open for 3 weeks. Before the due date applicants need to fill the application form to sit for the exam. Due to this COVID-19 lockdown, TJEE exam dates are rescheduled or postponed till the order further candidates can visit the official site for the exam updates.

TJEE 2021 Eligibility criteria

There are various factors affecting the eligibility for Tripura JEE 2021, applicants appearing for TJEE should satisfy the eligibility as prescribed by the TJEE board. Only such qualified candidates can apply for TJEE by filling the application form. The eligibility criteria set for Tripura JEE is mentioned below

  • Applicant must be an Indian citizen and their parents need to be the permanent resident of that particular state Tripura being not less than 10 years.
  • Candidates whose parents are state government employees posted outside Tripura are eligible to apply for Tripura JEE.
  • Children of the parents who are deputed as the central govt. officer and served a period of 3 years continuously in Tripura state are eligible and can appear for the exam.
  • Candidates of their parents being wards of Ex-Servicemen staying in Tripura will be eligible and to apply.
  • Children of Defence Personnel (Air Force/Navy/Army) from the state Tripura resided for not less than 5 years shall be eligible.
  • This is an entrance exam for engineering students whose qualification eligibility must be should have passed 10+2 board of Tripura keeping Mathematics/ Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as main subjects.

TJEE 2021 Application Form & fees

Application for Tripura JEE 2021 need to be filled online and it can be availed from the official site of TBJEE. Applicants must check that they fall into eligibility standard which is set by the conducting authority in order to apply and proceed with the admission process. Make sure the filled information in the application is correct since it is very difficult to make changes if anything went wrong. There is step by step procedure given below once the applicants undergo these steps will be considered and their application form for Tripura JEE will be accepted.

Step 1: Tripura JEE Registration

Applicants will go to TBJEE official site and enter their E-Mail ID and Phone Number then click on submit. Once the registration is successful candidates shall login by using the registered email-ID and mobile number to get the User Reference ID.

Step 2: Edit Profile

Now login to your profile, In the Edit Profile Form fill all the details else applicants will not be able to fill the application form.     Keep the required documents in hand while editing the profile documents required are:

  • Scanned Copy of Signature (one)
  • Scanned Copy of Photograph (one)
  • Scanned Copy of Category/Caste Certificate (if applicable) (one)
  • Scanned Copy of Ration Card/ BPL Certificate (if applicable) (one)

Step 3: Fill Application Form of Tripura JEE

Log on to the official site to fill all the relevant information of candidates personal details constituting Name, Address, Age, Phone Number etc. and educational details of Class X, XII and other related information. Make sure to fill the preferred examination centre and according to the availability centres will be allotted. Before the final submission of the filled form candidates can correct/edit the information and finally click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 4: Payment of Application Fee

Application fee of Tripura JEE 2021 shall differ based on certain category and is been mentioned below. The application fee can be paid through Net banking/Credit/Debit card. The fee paid is a non-refundable fee.

TJEE 2021 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

Exam Pattern of TJEE

To appear for the exam it is more important for candidates to know regarding exam pattern of Tripura JEE 2021. This might help candidates to be familiar with the number of questions, weightage and duration of the exam.

  • Number of Papers: It constitutes of 4 papers with different subjects like Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology.
  • Language of the Paper: English, Bengali.
  • Duration of the Exam: 2 hours for each paper, usually 2 papers per day scheduled in the morning and afternoon session.
  • Type of Questions: paper constitutes of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Number of Questions: 50 questions in each of the 4 papers
  • Marking Scheme: For every correct answer 2 marks will be awarded and no deducting of marks for incorrect answers.
  • It is been divided into 3 groups namely Group A, B and C depending on the candidates choice to take admissions for various course they will appear for the particular exam.

TJEE 2021 Admit Card

After the submission of application form admit card of Tripura JEE 2021 will be automatically generated. In the official site of TBJEE it will be available through their email ID and password candidates can download the same. No hard copy or printed card will be sent to students. In prior few days for the exam admit card will be released and it constitutes of personal information and examination details such as candidate name, time, date, photograph and exam venue.

  • Find the link of TJEE admit card and click
  • Enter the login credentials – email ID and password
  • TJEE admit card will be displayed check the information and download for future correspondence  

TJEE 2021 Results & Score Card

In the month of June Tripura JEE 2021 results will be announced online and the shortlisted candidates will further attend counselling for admission purpose. Results of TJEE will be released by TBJEE the exam conducting authority in the official website. Candidates will not receive any hard copy of the results. Once the results of TJEE is been declared, merit will be released by the board and qualified aspirants will then be eligible to appear for counselling of TJEE 2021.

Steps to obtain TJEE Results 2021

  • In the official website click on the TJEE results link
  • In the appeared window, enter registered number and DOB
  • Click on the “Submit” button
  • TJEE results will be displayed on the screen
  • The result window shows obtained marks along with merit of the candidate in the qualifying exam
  • For future reference it is better to download the TJEE result or score card

TJEE 2021 Counselling & Admission

Aspirants being able to clear the cut-off marks of TJEE shall be in the merit list which is prepared based on the score obtained by the candidates in accordance with the rank. Seats to the students are distributed through counselling of TJEE among the eligible candidates. Counselling is basically a process of verifying the candidate’s documents by the concerned authority as a last step for final admissions. In the online mode TBJEE releases the counselling call letters. In person aspirant should be present during the allocation of seats.

According to students feasibility they can choose their exam centres while filling the application form of Tripura JEE. The allotted exam centre cannot be changed so candidates need to carefully mark the option.
