Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences

Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences (BRIMS) is an autonomous institute in Karnataka, recognized by the Medical Council of India and affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Karnataka. It came into existence in 2007. It started in a 300-bed district hospital and upgraded to a 750-bed teaching hospital. Bidar Medical College offers MBBS courses at the undergraduate level and MD/MS courses at the postgraduate level. The annual intake for MBBS is 150. Admissions are based on NEET UG and NEET PG scores, with counseling conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) and the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota.
