KEE - Karunya University Entrance Exam

Karunya University conducts all India level entrance exams which is known as KEE. KEE is organized for admission into B. Tech Courses and M.Sc Integrated programme that are offered by the university.

The Karunya University was founded as Christian minority institution and accredited by NAAC with B grade.

KEE Eligibility criteria

Candidate has to fulfil the given eligibility criteria for appear in KEE:-

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board in the first attempt.
  • The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths altogether.
  • Candidates must be of 21 years on 1st July 2019.
  • Candidates who seeks  admission in B. Tech Food Processing and Engineering/ Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology, they have to qualify the 12th or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Zoology /Botany/Computer Science.

KEE Application Form & fees

  • The online application form will be available from the first week of November. Candidate who wants to apply through offline mode.
  • The last date for submission of filled-in OMR sheet & Online Application is the third week of April.
  • Candidates can pay the fee through online or offline mode.
  • Candidate can submit the fee via Demand Draft/ using Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking facility. The demand draft will be deposited in favour of “The Registrar, Karunya University” payable at Coimbatore.

B. Tech Courses



Online Mode: Candidate can get the application form through online mode from the official website. First, a candidate has to pay the application fee. After the submission of the fee, candidate will receive application number and password through SMS/e-mail. With the use of application number and password, candidates can fill the application form.

Fill Form Online with Pin Mailer: Candidates can also buy the application from the Karunya University Campus, Jesus Calls Centres, post office and Banks. Candidates have to fill the OMR Sheet and submit it to Karunya  University. After submitting the OMR Sheet, a Pin mailer is provided by the university. The Pin Mailer contains the application number and password. After getting it, you can apply through online process from the official portal.

Offline Mode: Candidates can fill the form through offline mode. Candidate has to send the DD of application fee in the given address and obtained the application form & prospectus. After getting application form, candidate have to fill the form and send it to the given address by Speed Post/Registered Post with their Name, Application Number and the course opted at the backside.

KEE Syllabus & Exam Pattern

  • The duration of the entrance exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes. It is a multiple choice examination. Each correct response one mark will be awarded. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect response.
  • The question paper will consist of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, General Aptitude, Christian Values (for Christian candidates)/Ethics (for Non-Christian Candidates).

KEE Admit Card

  • The admit card will be announced in the second week of April . Candidates can download the E-Hall Ticket by using their application number and Date of Birth. A link will be provided here soon.
  • The E-Hall Ticket will be available only for those eligible candidates who will submit their complete application form in all respects on or before the last date.
  • Once downloaded, the candidate must examine the E-Hall ticket prudently. If any discrepancy is noticed, it should immediately be brought to the notice of the Admissions Officer.

Candidates are required to produce the print out of the E-Hall Ticket along with any one of the following ID proofs in original to appear for the Karunya Entrance Examination.
•    12th standard Identity card issued by the School
•    12th standard Hall Ticket
•    Letter from the Head of the Institution with the photograph of the student (Photograph should be attested by the Principal/HM)
•    Driving License
•    Passport and
•    Aadhaar Card


  1. The Hall Ticket along with any one of the above original documents should be presented to the invigilators for verification.
  2. No candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall half-an-hour after the commencement of the examination and the candidates shall be permitted to leave the examination hall only after the completion of the examination.
  3. The E–Hall Ticket is not transferable to any other person.
  4. Candidates are advised to retain this E–Hall Ticket even after the exam and they need to produce it at the time of counselling and admission.

KEE Results & Score Card

Publish the results on the first week of April. Candidates can download their Rank Card by entering their application number and date of birth. Result cum rank card represents the performance of a candidate which clearly explains that how well the candidate did in the engineering entrance exam and on the basis of the rank what are the chances of a candidate beholds to get admission in the desired course.

KEE Counselling & Admission

Counselling will be done on the basis of the merit and is being held on different days according to the ranks of qualified candidates. Counselling is a single window counselling which means that different processes of counselling like fee deposition, document submission, document verification etc. will be done through a single window.

The details of the Counselling Procedure:

 Karunya University will send an SMS or Email to the candidates qualified for KEE counselling. The SMS/Email will consist of the details of the schedule for the Counselling process of Karunya University Entrance Examination (KEE). On the basis of that mail, candidates have to make themselves available in person at the venue of Counselling.
Reporting for Counselling:

  • Candidates, who have qualified in the Karunya Engineering Entrance 2019, are only eligible for the counselling.
  • Karunya University will publish the Counselling Schedules according to the ranks, and candidates have to report accordingly.
  • An SMS/Email from Karunya University will also be sent to the qualified candidates in this regard.

Document Verification:
Candidates appearing in counselling must get their documents verified before the allocations of seats.
Candidates must bring the following documents in original along with a set of attested photo copies for the Counselling:-

  • Hall Ticket / Rank card (must be self-attested)
  • Marks Sheet of Class 10th
  • Marks Sheet of Class 12th (if available)
  • Photo Identity Proof like the School ID, driving license, Passport etc.
  • School Transfer Certificate, Marks sheet, progress report (any of the mentioned documents issued by the school during Class 12th)
  • Christian Minority Certificate (if applicable)
  • Proof for Jesus Call Partner (if applicable)
  • Attested Community Certificate issued by Tahsildar / Revenue Officer / Magistrate
  • Demand Draft in favour of "The Registrar, Karunya University" payable at Coimbatore.

 Seat Allotment:

  • Once the document verification of candidates is completed, the seats will be allotted to the candidates as per the merit wise rankings and the preferences filled by the candidates.
  • Admission fees of can be paid in cash or by a Demand Draft which should be drawn in favour of The Registrar, Karunya University, Coimbatore.
