Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT) conducts a university level entrance exam called JAPEEE which provides admission to their three institutes of Jaypee located at Noida (JIIT), Wakanghat (JUIT) and Guna (JUET) on the basis of JEE Main 2017. JIIT, Noida was established in the year 2001 and has been declared as a “Deemed to be University” under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 in the year 2004.

JIIT JAYPEE Eligibility criteria

Eligibility Criteria for All Programs (Except for Biology / Biotechnology based admission to Biotechnology and Bioinformatics programs)

Criteria of subjects in 10+2 exam (JEE based admissions, at All Institute):

  • The minimum academic qualification for admission to any one of the programs is as laid down by JEE.
  • The candidate should have a pass in the 10+2 or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, and
  • Computer Science as optional subjects.
  • Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1995 (Date of Birth as recorded in the High School/Secondary Education Board/University Certificate only will be taken as authentic) are eligible to apply for admission.
  • Candidate must have appeared in JEE main and obtained a valid rank.
  • Candidates must produce certificate of proof of the above conditions at the time of counselling failing which they will be disqualified.

Alternate Mode of Admission for Biotechnology Programs at JIIT and JUIT only:

  • Biology/Biotechnology students (in 10+2 exams) seeking Admission in Biotechnology & Bioinformatics programs, based on 10+2 results (Non JEE) should fill in separate & different application form. The details of admission procedure and application Forms are available on web sites www.jiit.ac.in and www.juit.ac.in

Alternate Mode of Admission to Jaypee University, Anoopshahr:

  • 50% seats are available to students based on 10+2 marks merit (Non JEE). Such students should fill in separate & different application. No additional cost is needed if the student opts for JU Anoopshahr under JEE category. However, it will cost Rs.1200/? in case the candidate does not apply through JEE category (See separate instructions).

JIIT JAYPEE Application Form & fees

Candidates can fill the application forms in any of the following ways:-

  • ONLINE
  • OFFLINE
  • IN PERSON

The application fee for all the modes: – Rs.1200/?
It is mandatory to fill JEE?2017 Roll number and application form number before submission of Application, any applications received without JEE Roll Number / Application No. shall be rejected and candidate shall have no claim for the Merit lists.

Online Mode: - The application form will be available on the official portal  www.jiit.ac.in or they can directly fill the form in www.getadmissions.com/jaypee (the authorized agency for online application).
Candidate have to fill the application form in these websites mentioned above and can make the payment through credit/debit card/net banking, once the payment has been completed the candidate shall be allotted an Application ID number and will receive a confirmation mail as well.
Offline Mode:- The candidates can fill the form online and make the payment through DD or else they can take a print of the filled-in application form with their photo, application ID and post it with the DD in favour Jaypee Admissions Account”, payable at Noida/Delhi to the following address:

In person Mode:-They can purchase the application forms from any of the 3 institutes or they will get the application form and brochure from selected bank branches of IDBI and PNB, candidates can fill the form there and pay the application fee directly to the institute.
Candidates will be able see the receipt details of their applications and essential data on the web site from 15?20 days of submission of the form thereafter. Non receipt of application is responsibility of the candidate.

JIIT JAYPEE Results & Score Card

The merit list amongst the applications received for admission to JIIT shall be drawn based only on the overall All India Rank of JEE (Main) examination.

The merit list for SC/ST candidates shall be made by applying the cut off 10% below the all?India rank (in JEE main exam) obtained by the candidate short listed in the general category. Candidate have to check the official website for merit lists within 4 Days of declaration of the results of JEE main to know about their counselling schedule, guidelines and instructions.

JIIT JAYPEE Counselling & Admission

Counselling will be held in between 3rd to 4th week of July, 2018. Candidates will be allowed to choose maximum 4 programs at JIIT, Noida and 6 choices for combined counselling of JUIT and JUET, therefore they have the option of upgradation as per the merit and priority exercised and candidates can freeze the admission any time before the next updation.

  • Candidates who are offered provisional admission will be required to produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) to the University authority latest by September 2017 failing which, such provisional admission will stand cancelled.
  • If the results in qualifying examinations are likely to be declared after September 2018 the candidates are advised to seek admission next year as no representations for extension of dates for any reason whatsoever, shall be entertained.
