JAC Delhi 2024 Application Form, Exam Dates, Eligibility, Pattern and Syllabus

Students appearing for JAC Delhi 2024 should know about the conducting authority who initiates for taking important decisions in their eligibility criteria. The stated criteria will benefit the aspiring students to know if they will be qualified or have the capacity to appear for the exam before filling the online application form. Students must aware of the JAC Delhi Eligibility Criteria as given below before registering themselves for admission:

General Eligibility:                                                            

• The applicants should be citizens of India.
• In case of other state applicants they are eligible to apply with 15% of seats approved intake (for Govt. or private institutions of Delhi) will be made available for admission of such students.
• At the time of reporting for counseling  process, students must submit their Birth certificate and medical fitness certificate which is used to verify their age criteria and physical capability.

Eligibility criteria for B.Tech / B.E. Course:                                                           

• He/ she have to be passed 10th & 12th exam from Board of Secondary Education, in recognized Board with compulsory subjects such as Physics & along with one optional subject.
• The candidate must have passed in the qualifying exam with 45% marks (40% marks for other categories).

For B.Arch. Course:                                                                                                 

• The students must have passed 12^th board exams or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Mathematics securing aggregate of 50% marks Or should have passed 10+3 diploma (any stream) recognized by central state govt. with Mathematics as a compulsory subject securing aggregate of 50% marks. 
• If not, the student should have possessed International Baccalaureate diploma after 10 years of schooling with Mathematics subject securing aggregate of 50% marks.
• They should clear JEE Main paper-2 for admission considerations for B-Arch course.

The JAC Delhi aspirant students must follow the steps before applying for JAC Delhi 2024. The application/ registration process for JAC Delhi 2024 involves a set of stages like Registration, JAC Delhi Password, procuring Enrolment ID, Filling the Application and Uploading scanned Photographs and other required Documents, Online paying of fees, etc.

Candidates must have an in-depth look into the details regarding JAC Delhi 2024 Application Form:

The JAC Delhi 2024 Application Form will be made live and accessible from the second week of June 2024 as announced by the RTU authority, and the last due date for the submission of the application form with fee will be by the fourth week of August 2024. JAC Delhi 2024 Application form will be made accessible through online mode on the official website, i.e. https://jacdelhi.nic.in/

The application form will be released from the second week of June 2024, and students can make sure that they are registered on time for taking up this admission process.

Step 1: Registration                                                                              

To register for JAC Delhi 2024, the students will have to provide some of the basic details such as their name, date of birth, email-id, contact details, residence address, choice of stream, specializations, entrance exam result information, exam centre information, etc. and lastly press submit button.

Later, candidates have to wait for the confirmation about their choice of program and stream specialization through email or SMS, after which They will have to finish all the other steps of application.

Step 2: Uploading Documents/ Photographs                         

Applicants need to upload their recent passport-size photograph and their signature as per the specifications in a scanned format for the application form. Still, the document that needs to be submitted should be within the specified size limit in the form.

Step 3: Application Submission                                    

The completed two steps will lead to a confirmation notification displayed on the screen, and the student should read it and click on ‘I accept the terms and conditions.

The JAC Delhi 2024 application form will appear on the screen, and the aspirants will have to check all the details and try to modify them if necessary, and then click on ‘Save and Print’

It is suggested that the students take a hard copy of the application receipt after the above steps are completed, which also comes with a payment ID for reference used for transacting application fees.

Step 4: Payment of Fees                                                               

The application fee for JAC Delhi 2024 will have to be paid online via debit/credit card or net banking. The application fee for JAC Delhi 2021 is INR 1500/- The amount paid for the admission process application becomes non-refundable at any point in time. The payment link for JAC Delhi 2021 application fees will be live only after the form has been submitted, and the students can continue to pay the fees.

Step 5: Confirmation of JAC Delhi 2024 Application

After the payment transaction of the JAC Delhi application fee is completed, students will get an online receipt to their mobile number, which shows the completion of the registration process.

They will also get a mail on their registered email ID where the students will get a PDF file of the complete Application Form of JAC Delhi 2024 attached, and later they can view their registered accounts and soft copy the application form.

The conducting authorities prepare a merit list of JAC Delhi 2024 on the basis of scores secured by students in the qualifying exam. No separate rank list is prepared for NSUT, IGDTUW and DTU along with the provisional allotment will be done on the basis of All-India rank of candidate in JEE Main 2024. For B.Tech course, marks of Paper 1 will be considered and for B.Arch course, Paper 2 will be taken into consideration. For the making of JAC Delhi merit list 2024 for IIIT Delhi, final percentage score in Paper 1 will be taken into account. Candidates with a higher rank in JEE Main 2024 will be given higher rank.

For B.Arch admission, the committee will have to prepare merit list based on 50% weightage on 12^th level /diploma and 50% weightage given to NATA scores /JEE Main (Paper 2).

JAC Delhi 2024 Reservation

The reservation criteria for JAC Delhi 2024 are declared as per the specifications of Government of India, the seats will be reserved (apart from private institutions & 50% seats in self-financed Govt. engineering institutions).

The Counseling of JAC Delhi 2024 will be held in multiple rounds, and the seat allotment will be done based on the merit list announced by the authority. The counselling process will be conducted from the second week of July 2024. While appearing in the counselling, students will have to submit their choices by filling the choice form.

The allotment of the seats is made on merit according to the options submitted by the students will firstly be allotted with seats for the students of outside residents. Once the first round allotment is done, the aspirants will be allotted seats in their desired colleges.

• The JAC Delhi -2024 counselling will be open for students who have cleared class 12 qualifying Board exams having reached eligibility criteria as per JEE Mains 2024.
• Candidates appearing in Class 12 or equivalent qualifying Board exams in 2024 are also eligible for JAC Delhi-2024.
• After meeting the eligibility criteria, the student who did not take JEE Main can also apply for JAC Delhi 2024
• The exact JAC Delhi -2024 counselling date will be released soon by the authority on their official website.   

JAC Delhi 2021 will be completely carried out based on the merit list published by the authority and marks of qualified entrance exam. Students will have to enter their login details to know their seat allotment status. Also, the counselling process will be carried on based on the choices made by the students and the availability of seats.

Filling of Choice JAC Delhi 2024

• Candidates who have successfully submitted their application fee can choose the course and institute from the list. They should enter the choice as per the preference, and then all the details about the seat availability will be shown in the student's portal according to the eligibility. There is no particular limit for the student when making choices according to their preferences. The student should ensure that they go through every institution's fee structure and branches before filling in their choices. As soon as they make the choices, they will be automatically locked after the registration process gets over. They must seek the printout of the filled choices for further reference.
• Female applicants who are looking for seeking admission to the B.Arch course at IGDTUW needs to enter B.Arch as one of the main choices.
