SAMS College of Engineering and Technology

The Institute is popularly known as SAMSCET, established in 2006, located in Chennai. AICTE approves SAMSCET, and it is affiliated with Anna University. The Institute offers ME / BE and B. Tech course under UG and PG level. Admission at SAMSCET for UG and PG course is made through TNEA and TANCET counselling. Applications for these courses are accepted online for the students who are qualified.

B. Tech course at SAMSCET is offered with Information Technology. BE course is being provided with Aeronautical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering, Marine Engineering, Civil and Mechanical. ME course is offered with Computer Science and Engineering and Applied Electronics.

• Cut off score for BE in Marine Engineering will be 5365 opening rank and 5365 closing rank.
• Admission for BE course at SAMSCE is based on the TNEA counselling process conducted by AU.
• BE course is offered with seven disciplines for four years with 40 students per year.
• B. Tech course is offered with one specialization for four years.   
• Admission for the B. Tech course at SAMSCE depends on Merit and TNEA counselling process.
• Eligibility for ME course at SAMSCE, students must have passed B. Tech / BE examination with 50% marks.
• Admission for the ME course at SAMSCE depends on GATE scores and TANCET examination scores. 
• Students who have qualifying marks in GATE or TANCET will appear in counselling conducted by Anna University.

• Students applying at SAMSCE for UG and PG must fill the application with details of academic record, personal information and entrance exam scores.
