Easwari Engineering College was established in the year 1996 in Chennai under the sponsorship of Valliammai Society with the approval of the Government of Tamil Nadu. The institute is affiliated to Anna University and is certified by ISO 9001-2008. The courses approved by the institute are approved by AICTE and NBA.

Government scholarships are provided for students, classified by their community, total amount students received is INR 81,81,375.00 for a government grant (2013-2014).Scholarship from the central sector(Merit scholarship), which has been awarded to students who obtained a rank in the university exams, a total amount of INR 8, 51, 000.00 for the scholarship students of the amendment (2013-14).
