The campus is approximately 100 hectares in size, which is governed by the Lakshmikanthammal Educational Trust and affiliated with Anna University in Chennai. It is approved by AICTE, and is a minority Telugu establishment. The mission of the institute is to make the best possible use of the most modern infrastructure to guarantee a high quality education and to develop collaborations that promote research & innovation skills.

• The institute offers undergraduate programs in various fields, such as Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Technology, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
• The number of appearances, minimum scores and other criteria for admission to the B.E / B.Tech courses are in line with AICTE and government standards.
• In order to support students who deserve it and need it, scholarships are established by the administration. On behalf of Shri R S Munirathinam, founder and president of the RMK Institutions Group, 32 students receive INR 5,000 each as a scholarship.
• 100 rooms are available for boys and can accommodate about 300 students. The girl’s hostel has 20 rooms, with capacity for 70 students. The rooms of the hostel are spacious, well ventilated, well maintained and equipped with the necessary and comfort accessories.

The library and the university information center have resources that provide students with the latest technology with international standards. The library services are automated by the standard library software package autolib 5.2 Version. The institute has 26 buses to transport students. Data centers with centralized air conditioning cover an area of ??1848 square meters, and data center II has more than 2500 square meters. Best students are awarded with gold medals and cash prizes who maintain the academic performance in each academic year.
