Admission is mostly through merit via TNEA counselling. The competition for CSE is quite tough. The CSE department has state-of-the-art labs and vibrant research cells, which motivate the students to be inventive, with the last closing rank for the General Category around 13,444 for the year 2025. For Management Quota, the candidate needs to have a good 10+2 aggregate (usually above 60% in PCM). The method is simple. First the prospective candidate has to register for counselling. After that they must participate in choice filling, and get a seat based on your TNEA rank. Higher tuition fees are usually charged for direct admission, which is also possible.
