The Institute is shortly known as RMKCET, established in 2008, Tamil Nadu. The Lakshmikanthammal Educational Trust governs the Institute. AICTE approved RMKCET and affiliated with Anna University. The college makes the best use of modern technology to teach the students. AICTE approves the courses offered by the Institute. 

RMKCET offers UG courses with various specializations. Admission for these courses is made based on the TNEA counselling process.

  • Eligibility for B.E / B. Tech course, candidates must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks.
  • Admission for B.E / B. Tech course at RMKCET is based on marks in the qualifying exam and TNEA counselling process.
  • 50% of seats are selected under Government Quota through the counselling conducted by the University.
  • The rest of the seats are offered to Management Quota students.
  • The Institute of RMKCET provides a total of 480 seats in different specializations.
  • For the B. Tech / BE lateral entry, candidates must have passed a Diploma in relevant subjects.
  • Admission at RMKCET provides offline, and candidates can visit the college campus to apply.

RMK College of Engineering and Technology BE / B. Tech course Admission 

The Institute of RMKCET offers BE / B. Tech course in four disciplines for four years. RMKCET also provides BE / B. Tech lateral courses for the students with eligible scores.

  • Eligibility for BE / B. Tech course at RMKCET, candidates must have scored 50% marks in the 10+2 exam with PCM as main subjects. 
  • Admission for BE / B. Tech at RMKCET is based on Merit and TNEA counselling conducted by AU.
  • Eligibility for BE / B. Tech lateral course at RMKCET, students must have passed diploma or B.Sc. degree with Maths as compulsory subjects.
  • Applicants who belong to OBC / SC / ST / BC / OC / MBC/DNC must have scores 40% marks to apply. 
  • The General category students must have scored 50% marks in the 10+2 exam to apply.

RMK College of Engineering and Technology Application Process

The Institute provides application forms for UG courses offline. Candidates must visit the college admission centre to apply.

  • Admission for BE / B. Tech and Lateral course at RMKCET is provided offline.
  • Applicants should visit the college campus to collect the application form. 
  • Fill the application form of RMKCET offline with the details required for admission.
  • Attach the necessary documents like score sheets, proofs of academics, entrance exam score sheet etc.
  • Application form fees of RMKCET for the general category will be Rs 500/- and for the reserved category, it is Rs 250/-.
  • Pay application form fee of RMKCET and submit offline via post to the college.
