Eligibility Criteria/Cut-off for Admissions 2020

A candidate for admission to the B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) Degree Course shall have:
passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) system or an examination equivalent thereto securing in the first attempt, not less than 50% (45% in the case of SC / ST candidates and persons with disability) in the aggregate, and
not completed 20 years of age as on 1st July of the year of admission.
In the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and persons with disability, the maximum age limit shall be 22 years.
Those who do not clear the qualifying exam. with the requisite marks are not eligible for admission. Candidates whose Statement of marks of the qualifying exam. is not available at the time of formal interviews, are also not eligible for admission.
For LLM- Master Of Laws
Admission as per the CLAT 2015 common rule.

NLSIU offers postgraduate courses like MBL and PG Diploma course in distance mode. The basic eligibility to obtain admissions is Bachelor’s degree from recognized university with 50% aggregate. The MBL course is of 2 years duration and the PG Diploma Course is of 1 year duration with seven specializations.

  • The candidates interested to pursue the PG courses can download the application form from the official website of the university.
  • The application form along with the application fee of INR 4000 has to be paid through demand draft and the application form has to be submitted with the required documents within the last date.

       BALLB Admissions at National Law School of India University, Bangalore the Eligibility criteria and the Selection Process for BALLB program is that:

  • At National Law School of India University, Bangalore the candidates who are applying to BALLB program have to clear 10th and 12th examination or its equivalent.
  • From any recognized University, 50% of aggregate marks in the Bachelor’s degree are mandatory for the applicants who are opting BALLB program at the National Law School of India University.
  • BALLB Admissions will be as per the applicant’s eligibility which meets the National Law School of India University fixed criteria.
