University Law College offers admissions for its undergraduate and postgraduate law programs for the academic year 2026. Interested students can apply after fulfilling the eligibility criteria and completing the admission process as per Bangalore University norms.

 

ULC Bangalore Eligibility Criteria

  • For the LLB, you must have passed in 10+2 with CLAT scores, and for the BA LLB Program, you have to pass class 12th from a recognized board.
  • Students from the General category must secure a minimum of 45% marks. Students belonging to the reserved category have to secure a minimum of 40% marks.
  • You must have studied English as a compulsory subject.
  • For the LLM course, you have to complete an LLB from a recognized university.

 

ULC Bangalore Selection Process

The admission to ULC is done through Bangalore University’s admission process. It is based on merit and counseling. The selection is based on academic performance and the University merit list.

The University College of Law offers an LLB program with a general specialization. No other specialization is available. 

Who can get admission to the LLB program at BU-UCL?

University College of Law Bangalore University course admissions are open for BA LLB and LLM programs. The University does not offer LLB courses in their academics. For BA LLB, applicants must have passed in 10+2 board exams in any stream.

Bangalore University offers BA, LLB, and LLM courses under the law stream. BA LLB is an integrated program for 5 years. Students must have passed the 10th and 12th exams. And no entrance exam is needed for admissions.

Can I get direct admission to BA LLB without any entrance exam?

No, since this is a public college, direct BA LLB direct admission to University College of Law Bangalore University is not accepted. Candidates through merit followed by counseling basis need to get seats for any course.
