MES Law College (Modern Education Society’s Law College) is one of the pioneer law colleges founded in the year 1974, affiliated to Karnataka State Law University, approved by the Bar Council of India, accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation council with ‘B’ Grade. Institute is dedicated to impart quality legal education with adequate academic facilities and enable the students to develop as professional law graduates by equipping skills and knowledge. The College locates in Sirsi, Karnataka State, and the campus area is spread over 6 acres of land, which is surrounded by greenery. The Best part is, MES has a well-qualified and competitive faculty team that teaches & trains the students through innovative, practical methodologies.

  • MES Law College offers LLB (Bachelor of Law) for three years. The total intake of 161 seats annually apart from the regular college also provides some of the certification courses in the Human Rights stream for two years with 20 students.
  • Admission at MES Law College for the LLB program will be made per Karnataka State Law University's norms. Selection of the candidates will be based on academic merit in the qualifying examination, and candidates need to secure a 45% aggregate score.
  • MES Law College application forms are made available online and offline. Application fees charge approximately INR 1000 for the general category and INR 500 for SC / ST Category.
  • MES Law College Scholarship facility is offered for the reserved category as per the state government's norms and awards scholarships for the meritorious students for their academic excellence.

MES Law College offers the best academic facility, such as a Well-equipped Library, which has a spacious hall for reading activity with internet services along with visual aids. It contains more than 11,000 reference books, 11 Periodicals, and 15 Journals, and also E-Journal and other relevant databases are available which is necessary for legal education.

The MES law college is a Centre of excellence for providing legal education to students of all categories. The college was started to make people about India's law practices with the help of people like Shri. G.S. Hegde, S.R. Hegde, and Shri. R.G. Bhat in a small place called Sirsi.

  • The students are trained in knowing the practice of law in the Indian constitution and arguing for the justice of their clients.

MES Law College Placement-

  • The internship is made compulsory under advocates and lawyers in trial courts within five years of education with a reasonable stipend.
  • The Placement Cell of the college trains the students and helps them understand the present problems occurring in society and legal education to solve them.
  • After completing education, the students are placed under well-known advocates in different levels of courts for training and later can practice law independently.

MES Law College Infrastructure-

  • Gym facility is available with weight lifting, treadmill, and other facilities which help the students maintain the fitness.
  • A medical facility with an ambulance and an officer is present in-store. The students of d a massive auditorium with projectors is available where workshops, seminars, and fests are conducted regularly.
  • The canteen provides varieties of food for both students and faculties at a reasonable price. The library has reference books required for the subjects and journals for conducting research.

The hostel facility is 1km from the campus with spacious rooms with two students allotted per room with all the necessary amenities.

The basic eligibility for 3 3-year LLB program is to have completed their UG degree in any discipline and be certified by a recognized University with a min of 50% marks and no backlogs.

MES law College offers only LLB and Certification programs as academic programs.

Candidates who done their UG degree in law stream with a minimum of 45% marks are eligible to seek LLB admission at MESLC. Admissions will be made according to the guidelines of KSLU.
