Eligibility Criteria:-

  • A candidate seeking admission to the three- year LL.B. (Semester scheme) shall be a graduate of University, recognized by U.G.C. as competent to confer a degree, with a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in all the subjects prescribed every semester of the degree course, or in the final year of the time whichever is beneficial to the candidate. But SC/St students, this percentage is 40%
  • In case a candidate does not have the required percentage at the Bachelor’s degree examination, he may be admitted to the Law Course based on his performance at the Post-graduate Examination, provided he has secured the required percentage ( i.e., 45% of marks)at such Post-graduate examination.
  • However, if the admissions are made based on an entrance test, the eligibility for admission shall be 40% of the marks secured in the Degree examination.
  • A student from any other University is eligible to admission to the IIIrd Semester or Vth semester at the commencement of the first term in any College affiliated to this University provided that he has passed the lower examinations in all the papers prescribed for that examination and satisfies the other requirements specified by the University from time to time. 

Admission Procedure:-

  • Admission will be made as per KSLU, BCI & govt rules. Of Karnataka. Applications for admission will have to be submitted within the notified date in the prescribed form obtainable from the college office.
  • If a candidate seeking admission to the course is employed at the time of admissions, he must produce a letter of ‘ No Objection Certificate’ from his employer to take up/continue the practice. If he gets employed subsequently, he/she will have to produce a ‘ No Objection Certificate’ from his employer immediately. His employment shall not hamper his/her regularity of attendance.
  • The Candidate seeking admission must produce a certificate of physical fitness issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner every year.
  • Applications with incomplete information or those not accompanied by the requisite fees will not be entertained. Admission will be granted only after the conduction of the interview by the Selection Committee. Application for admission is to be scrutinized and approved by the committee. The Decision of the committee is final and binding.
  • Students from other universities will be admitted only on producing a provisional Eligibility Certificate issued by the Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi. Until all Certificates are created, the candidate's admission will be deemed provisional. Roll Number will be assigned to the students only when the last day of admission is over.
  • The College reserves the right of admission.
  • All admissions in the first instance are temporary.
