• Candidates willing to apply in the B.Tech course must have a minimum of 50%  in 10+2 or any equivalent of State Board, CBSE, Matric and any other Board of Education recognized by State and Central Government (PCM subjects)
• Candidates appearing in BPC (Biology, Physics and Chemistry) are eligible to apply only for Biotechnology and Food Technology specializations under B.Tech.
• Students holding High School Diploma degrees issued by Northwest Accreditation Commission – US (NWAC-US) are also eligible to apply. In addition, the eligible candidates must provide a valid certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) for B.Tech. Courses.
• 'For admission into Lateral Entry programs, the candidate must have a Diploma course in the relevant field of specialization with an average of 60% marks in the pre-final and final semesters.
• The candidates must appear in the Kalasalingam University Entrance Exam for admission into the B.Tech programme. However, students with valid JEE Main scores are exempted from KUEE.
