Dr BR Ambedkar Medical College was established by Ananda Social and Educational Trust in 1981. It aims at providing quality medical education and health service to common people. It is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and is approved by MCI. B R Ambedkar Medical College ranked 5th among the top medical college in Bangalore. BRAMC offers MBBS under the UG program and MD, MS under PG level for students with multiple disciplines for five and three years, respectively.

  • The eligibility for MD and MS courses at BRAMC is to pass an MBBS degree with 50% marks from a recognized board.
  • The students seeking admission for MD and MS course at Ambedkar Medical College is based on NEET PG entrance exam scores.

This is exists from the year 1981 and was started by the Ananda Social & Educational Trust. Affiliation is done by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences. This provides MBBS program and many other PG courses where all these courses are approved by Medical council of India. The teaching hospital is having almost 600 beds. The admission for the MBBS program is usually according to our NEET score. In facilities that are included in the teaching hospital and medical college is Library, Hostel, Sports & Cultures, transport, cafeteria and internet. The college is having hostels for both the men and women inside the campus with facilities like spacious rooms, recreation hall with the television and modern facilities.

Dr BR Ambedkar Medical College is one of the top medical college which offers exceptional education in medical stream and most of the students prefers this college for pursuing MBBS course. The College is affiliated to RGUHS and it was founded by Ananda Social and Education Trust in the year 1981.College offers both UG & PG course in medical stream which are recognized under MCI and I must say it is the best rated college in Karnataka State. For candidates interested in taking MBBS admission to BRAMC, the performance of the candidate in the entrance examination are considered. In addition, the students must get the All India Rank and percentile earned in the NEET, on which admission will be awarded. Application forms for MBBS and NEET are separately available online on the official website. Reservation conditions are in conformity with Indian government rules.

Aspirants willing to be admitted to the 5-year full-time MBBS Program should meet the following criteria specified by the institute. The candidate should have passed 10+2 in the science stream from a recognized university. The NEET cut-off score is 720-147 for the MBBS program.

Candidates must be at least 17 years of age, and must have passed 10+2 level examination from science stream with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry & Biology and with 60% marks. NEET score is mandatory and performance in Entrance Examination basis followed by qualifying examination marks Dr BR Ambedkar Medical College   admissions to MBBS will be given.

There are many scholarship activities in Dr BR Ambedkar Medical College like national merit scholarship; scholarship for OBC & SC/ST. College also offers loan facilities. Fees structure for complete 5 years is approximately INR 499,200.

Hi, Based on entrance and followed by counselling admissions to the college takes place. To fill the form there is offline and online mode either the convenient way candidate can apply for the course to proceed with admissions. NEET is a compulsory exam you must appear for to get admissions.
