VIMS, Bangalore, is attached to the Hospital, which has a full-fledged, sophisticated 1600-bed. It comprises hi-tech clinical and non-clinical departments. It is equipped with all the latest equipment to provide centralized attention services involving new technology and has trained staff. The Hospital also provides free tertiary health care for the underprivileged. It has seven laboratories, viz., Haematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Serology, Clinical Pathology, and Cytopathology.
Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences Admission Process
VIMS offers admission to all of the UG and PG courses. Applicants have to surpass the eligibility criteria set by MCI for the same. The admission process will take place in online mode.
- The application process for the MBBS course is very competitive and requires aspirants to fulfill certain criteria.
- The admission is made on the basis of the rank obtained in the NEET UG test.
- They also need to score the eligible rank in the entrance exam conducted by KEA. Moreover, they have to qualify the cutoffs fixed by KCET/ NEET for various categories like private quota(COMEDK), management quota, and NRI quota.
- After that, the shortlisted candidates are interviewed and selected on the basis of their performance in the interview.
