JIS University Courses Admission

The admission process at JIS University is very straightforward. All you need to do is fill out the JIS University admission form and upload the required documents. Then, pay the application fee online through various payment options. Once the application is handled, you will receive a printout of the form and payment receipt.

Admission is based on merit and requires candidates to pass an entrance exam. Candidates with valid UGAT and CAT/ XAT/ MAT scores are exempted from the JIS University Entrance Exam for applying to courses such as BBA (Hons), Integrated BBA-MBA and MBA.

JIS University UG Admission

• At the UG level, JIS offers admission to the B Tech, BSC, BA, BBA+LLB, BCA, LLB, BSc, and B Pharm. The candidates must be 10+2 passed to apply for these courses.
• Candidates must hold bachelor's degrees for admission to the B.Ed or LLB in JIS University.
• Moreover, the candidates must sit for the entrance examination conducted by the University.
• The qualified students need to appear in the GD and PI session

• Candidates can directly apply for JIS University BBA Admission if they qualify for UGAT. They are required only to appear for GD/PI. Such candidates are exempted from the University Entrance Exam.
• Candidates seeking admission to the B Tech in JIS University can apply based on WBJEE or JEE Main Scores. If not, they have to appear for a University-Based entrance exam.
• Selected candidates must report at the University per the prescribed schedule.

JIS University PG Admission

• The basic Eligibility criteria for all the courses is to have a simple graduation with a minimum of 50%. The exception is for the courses like M.Pharm, M.Sc, and LLM, which require a graduation percentage of 60%, 45%, and 45% (42% for the reserved categories), respectively.
• The candidates willing to apply for the MBA in JIS University will be selected based on CAT / XAT/ MAT exams. Qualified applicants can directly apply for GD& PI. To be noted, that the University Entrance Test is exempted only for those students who have qualified for the entrance as mentioned above tests.
• For admission into courses other than MBA, the students must appear in the entrance test conducted by the University.
• JIS University Entrance Exam Dates will be notified on the official website. After the conclusion of the exam, Based on JIS University Exam Result, a merit list will be created.
• Candidates are required to access the JIS University Exam Portal to register for the examination.

JIS University Scholarships

University offers scholarships to deserving and financially weak students. The amount of the scholarship, up to 100% of the tuition fee from the total course fees, is awarded based on the assessment of potential applicants by the JISUMS committee.

The conditions required to be fulfilled to avail of these scholarships are:

• Entrance Examination: The candidate should score a good percentile in the JIS University Entrance test for admission
• Previous Qualification: The candidate with a consistent performance in all previous qualifying examinations.

2. If the candidate is a single girl child
3. If the candidate is a child of a Single mother

JIS University Facilities

JIS University has excellent infrastructure. The Campus is fully wifi enabled and has smart classrooms equipped with ACs. The library is an integral part of the educational centre and has a collection of more than 3,26,000 books and around 5,000 journals, including e-journals. The library subscribes to DELNET services and is a learning resource

University provides hostels as accommodation facilities for boys and girls. The hostels are available within the campus premises. The hostel rooms have furniture like a cot, chair, study table, study lamp, bookshelf, and cupboard. Other available facilities include a First aid centre, indoor gaming amenities, laundry service, and wifi service. In addition, the hostels are provided with 24×7 water and power supply. JIS University Hostel fees is INR 66,000 per year. In addition, an admission fee of ? 5000 must be paid during the admission process.
