Jadavpur University Courses Admission
The University provides UG, PG, and doctoral courses in various disciplines and specializations. Candidates must fulfill the eligibility and selection criteria for admission to Jadavpur University.
- For Jadavpur University B.Tech Admission, Candidates shall have passed 10+2 level with a combination of PCM subjects with 60% marks in aggregate. In addition, English must also be a compulsory subject. Selection depends on performance in the WBJEE exam, followed by counseling.
- Students seeking admission to the BA and B. Lib.Sc must appear for an entrance test administered by the University.
- Students seeking admission to the B Arch must appear for NATA. In contrast, admission to the B Pharm is based on WBJEE Results.
- Jadavpur University B.Ed Admission is based on the entrance test followed by counseling.
- Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements to appear for Jthe adavpur University Entrance Exam.
- For admission into the B.Sc course, the candidates must have a 75% in 10+2 in the related field. Selection is based on academic merit.

Jadavpur University Facilities
The University is home to over 1800 students. It has several facilities for their convenience, including a well-stocked library, guest house, laboratories, accommodation amenities, and more.
The University has a Central Library, Salt Lake Campus Library, about 36 departmental libraries, and 23 school-related libraries and centers under the Faculty of Law and Management. The Central Library has a large collection of resources. In addition, students can access electronic resources through Internet access.
The University provides accommodation for both boys and girls. There are 13 Jadavpur University hostels in the campus area, 4 for girls and 9 for boys, with accommodation for more than 1600 students. The Students' Mess Committee forms the Hostel Mess under the guidance of the Superintendent of each respective hostel. In addition, there is an exclusive dormitory for scientists.
