Q2. What are the key topics of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in BITSAT 2024?

The important topics covered by these subjects are:

  • Heat and Thermodynamics, the Magnetic Effect of Current and Magnetism, Wave Motion, and Current Electricity are all topics covered in physics.
  • Chemistry includes Chemical Bonding, Biomolecules, Carboxylic Acid and its Derivatives, Atomic Structures, p-block Elements, and Mole Concepts.
  • Whereas the Mathematics syllabus includes Circles, Straight Lines, Pairs of Straight Lines, Vectors, Continuity, and Differentiability

Q3. When should I begin preparing for the BITSAT 2024?

If you thoroughly prepare for your 11th and 12th standard exams and other competitive exams, even one month of concentrated BITSAT 2024 preparation can yield good results. However, it is advised that you begin as soon as possible to have enough time to solve BITSAT sample papers and practice mock tests.

Q4. Should I take BITSAT 2024 preparation coaching or study at home?

That is entirely up to you. If you believe you require guidance and cannot study effectively on your own, consider the tutor. However, if you believe you can prepare well on your own, then practice well by solving the previous year's BITSAT question paper. It is kindly recommended that you attempt the BITSAT Mock Tests.

Q6. What types of questions will be asked in BITSAT 2024? How can I get ready for them?

The BITSAT 2024 exam consists entirely of objective-type questions. Candidates can prepare for the BITSAT 2024 exam by reading the recommended BITSAT 2024 books. Concentrate on practicing with sample papers and mock tests.

Q7. Is the BITSAT syllabus 2024 comparable to the JEE Main paper or the JEE Advance paper?

In this comparison, the BITSAT syllabus has more in common with the JEE Main paper because both are mainly centered on class 11 and 12 concepts. However, the BITSAT 2024 Exam Pattern differs.

Q8. How can I best prepare for BITSAT 2024?

The following points should be kept in mind by candidates taking the BITSAT 2024:

  • Examine the entire BITSAT 2024 syllabus and exam pattern
  • Make a proper exam schedule and stick to it
  • Examine previous year's questions and sample papers
  • Analyze each test to see how capable you are
  • Allow at least a week for revision

Q10. What are the portions of the BITSAT 2024 exam that the applicant must study?

BITS Pilani has defined four sections that candidates should study to prepare for BITSAT 2024 effectively. They are as follows: Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency & Logical Reasoning, Maths/Biology. Out of all these sections, the Maths/Biology section contains 45 questions.

Q15. Is the English section of the BITSAT 2024 worth as many points as the individual PCMB sections?

No, it does not. There are 15 questions in the English proficiency section and 10 questions in the logical reasoning section. Each of the Physics and Chemistry sections has 40 questions, while the Math/Biology section has 45. Because all questions use the same marking scheme, PCMB carries significantly more weight than English.
