BCECE - Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) is a state level entrance exam conducted by Bihar Examination Board. The BCECE exam is conducted to provide admission for the candidates in various under graduate courses in the field of Engineering, Medical, Agriculture and technology.

BCECE is an offline mode examination conduce through pen and paper mode for the duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes. The BCECE registration process can be done through online mode by visiting the board official website. BCECE is conducted with a vision to provided admission for various education institute in the state of Bihar. BCECE examination paper will consist of subjects like Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Agriculture depending on the course the candidates is willing to select.

The admission for the course through BCECE will be based on the counselling of the score attained by the students in the entrance examination. Candidates can enroll for the BCECE examination after completion of intermediate post meeting the eligibility criteria set by the BCECE board.

BCECE 2021 Eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria for BCECE are set by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. Candidates willing to appear for the BCECE will have to meet the required eligibility criteria set by the concerned authorities. The application from without the required eligibility will be rejected by the board and the candidates shall not be liable to appear for the BCECE examination.

  • Applicants willing to apply for this course, should be an Indian and must belong to Bihar state.
  • Physics, Chemistry Mathematics / Biology has to be their primary subjects at 10+2 with an aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST).
  • Candidates appearing for the intermediate board exam can also apply before the result declaration.
  • BCECE has no particular age bar, exam is open for all eligible applicants to appear for.
  • 3 times is the maximum limit for the candidates to apply for the BCECE examination.

BCECE 2021 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

BCECE Exam Pattern

BCECE examination will be conduce din 2 stages. Candidate’s applying for the BCECE entrance examination will have to choose either of the stages while filling the application form. BCECE Stage 1 paper consists of 150 marks in total and Stage 2 paper consists of 300 marks in total.

BCECE 2021 Admit Card

The admit card for the BCECE entrance examination will be issued by the examination conducting authority prior to the commencement of the examination. The BCECE is been scheduled to be conducted in the month of July or August. However the admit card released date for BCECE is not yet announced by the examination board.

Steps to download BCECE Admit Card

Step 1: Visit the official website of BCECE at “www.bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.”

Step 2:  Click on the admit card link on the home page.

Step 3: Once the home page is redirected to a login window, enter email ID and password.

Step 4: Click on the 'Submit' button to proceed and download the admit card.

Step 5: Check the details and take the printout of the same for further reference.

BCECE 2021 Results & Score Card

The BCECE results will be declared in the month of July or August. Candidates can assess the BCECE results through online mode by visiting the official website. Candidates can access their result by entering their login credentials.

Steps to access BCECE Results

Step 1: Visit BCECE official website (www.bceceboard.com)

Step 2: On the main page click on the "result" tab.

Step 3: Click on BCECE Result.

Step 4: Enter the details such as your Roll number, date of birth, seat number.

Step 5: Click on submit button and download.

Step 6: Take a printout of it for future use.

BCECE Tie Breaker

Applicants securing higher marks in Mathematics and Biology papers will be given first preference. In case the tie still exists, then the aspirants securing higher marks in Chemistry and Physics papers will be given preference. In case of a further tie, aspirants older in age will be given preference

Agriculture and Horticulture streams, the tie will be resolved as under criteria like applicants securing higher marks in Agriculture paper will be ranked higher. In case the tie still exists, then applicants with higher marks in Chemistry and Biology will be ranked higher. However the age criteria hold the upper hand hence applicants older in age will be given preference.

BCECE 2021 Counselling & Admission

The counselling process for the BCECE will begin soon after the declaration of results. Candidates will have to apply for the counselling process through online mode. The seat will be confirmed post documents verification and payment of admission fee payment. The exam authority will also publish the document verification and offline counselling schedule for all the participating colleges once the counselling process of BCECE begins.
