T. A. Pai Institute Entrance Test [TAPMI]
T. A. Pai Management Institute conducts the TAPMI examination to fill up the open seats for post graduate diploma programs in Banking & Financial Services, Management, and Healthcare. This is a national level screening test for screening candidates for the aforesaid programs. The test is conducted at various cities in the country.
Candidates willing to seek admission in management courses can appear for this examination. The exam offers admission in different disciplines of PGDM. Candidates who are willing to seek admission should fill the registration form online released by the institute. Candidates are eligible for applying in the TAPMI test only if they have qualified for the management examination. The examination makes use of GMAT, XAT, MAT and CAT scores for assessing the performance of the candidate along with other parameters for the selection process. These scores are mandatory for seeking admission into the management courses. Apart from these, candidates are assessed on the basis of group discussion, personal interview for the selection.
The application form for admission via TAPMI can be availed online only. Candidates can, however, buy the prospectus in online and offline mode. NRI Candidates are also eligible for TAPMI examination. TAPMI does not organize any test. Instead, they make use of XAT/ MAT / CAT and GMAT scores for performing an assessment of the candidates along with other parameters.
Candidates are first shortlisted based on GMAT, XAT and CAT scores for WAT (written ability tests) and personal interviews. After that, candidates will be provided a topic for writing an essay on it. After completing the written ability tests, the organizing body conducts the personal interview round. Candidates will be asked different questions about the academic record, details filled in application form, future goals, etc.
TAPMI 2024 Exam Date
The examination for the ongoing year shall be organized in various cities across the country between the February and the March 2024.
The test will be conducted in Mumbai in February 2024.
- Candidates from Ahmadabad and adjoining cities can take the test February at Ahmadabad while the test will be holding at Hyderabad in February 2024.
- Candidates from the south can appear at the test at Chennai and Cochin between 23rd and 27th of February 2024. Jaipur will be hosting the test on 26th February and candidates from Delhi and NCR region can appear to the test between 28th Feb and March 2024. The date for the test in Manipal has been scheduled on 4th March.
TAPMI 2024 Eligibility criteria
Incumbents should have completed their graduation from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. Candidates should have undergone their academic either form 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 system and should have English as one of the compulsory language subjects in the qualifying examination. Candidates with the valid score for CAT, XAT, and GMAT are also held eligible for these programs. In addition, NRI and Foreign nationals can also apply for these programs, provided they satisfy the conditions prescribed by the institute in this regard.
TAPMI 2024 Application Form & fees
The application form for this examination was released in November 2024 and the last date for submitting the filled application form has been scheduled for 7th February. Candidates will be getting the application form on the website of the institute.
The application fee can remit through internet banking, debit & credit card, or through demand draft, drawn in the favor of the institute. The application fees for Indian Nationals are Rs. 1500 to 3500 depending on the programs. For NRI, the application fees range from the US $50 to US $100.
TAPMI 2024 Syllabus & Exam Pattern
The syllabus for this examination resembles the syllabus of the graduation examination. Questions cover topics taught in the graduation level. General knowledge, general aptitude, a test of reasoning, reading comprehension and English are few of the major topics for this examination.
The pattern for this examination starts with a written test and candidates qualifying through this test successfully, needs to attend the rounds of group discussion and personal interview. The final selection list is prepared based on the performance of the candidates across these rounds.
TAPMI 2024 Admit Card
Candidates will require downloading the admit card from the website of the institute. The admit card is compulsory to get access to the examination hall. Different admit card is generated for students opting for computer based and paper based tests. Admit card consists of different integral information related to a candidate such as name and roll number of the candidate, time, date, and venue of the examination.
TAPMI 2024 Results & Score Card
Results will be declared after the completion of the examination. The TAPMI 2024 result can be viewed on the official website of TA Pai Management Institute. After logging into the official website of TAPMI, you need to click on the results tab on the home page. Students require entering details such as registration number, password, and captcha code. You can view the results on the screen post login.
TAPMI 2024 Counselling & Admission
TAPMI 2024 does not conduct any entrance test for providing admission into PGDM courses. The candidates are shortlisted in accordance with their scores in GMAT/ MAT. XAT and CAT. Shortlisted candidates need to appear for written ability test and PI (personal interview) rounds. Candidates selected for written ability tests will receive notification through email. The final selection will be based in accordance with the performance and score in written tests and personal interviews.

TAPMI 2024 is conducted by T. A. Pai Management Institute. Hence Ta Pai Management Institute is known to be the participating college in TAPMI.
