Step 1: Registration

To register for MICAT 2024 , the students will have to provide some of the basic details such as their name, date of birth, email-id, contact details, residence address, choice of stream, specializations, entrance exam details, exam centre information, etc. and lastly press submit button.

After the giving in the form, students have to wait for a certain time until they are informed about their program and stream specialization through email or SMS. He/she will have to continue to complete all the other steps of the application.

Step 2: Uploading Documents/ Photographs

The submission of documents and photographs is vital while applying for MICAT. The students will have to upload their scanned copy of recent, passport-size photographs and their signature digitally as per the form's specifications. The file size that needs to be submitted should be within the form's given size limit.

Step 3: ApplicationSubmission

After the above two steps are completed, a confirmation pop-up will be displayed on the screen, and the student should read it and click on ‘I accept the terms and conditions.’

The MICAT 2024 application form will appear on the screen, and the aspirants will have to scrutinize all the details and try to modify them if necessary, and then click on ‘Save and Print’

Students are recommended to take a hard copy of the application receipt after the above steps are completed and a payment ID for reference, which will be used for paying application fees.

Step 4: Payment of Fees

Application fees will have to be paid through online mode using a debit card/ credit card or net banking. The application fee for MICAT 2024 is INR 1985/-. The money, once transacted, becomes non-refundable at any given time. The payment link for MICAT 2024 application fees will be live only after the form has been submitted, and the students can continue to pay the fees.

Step 5: Confirmation of MICAT 2024 Application

After the MICAT application fee transaction is done, students will get an online receipt to the contact details given by the student, which shows the completion of the registration process.

Students will also get a mail on their registered email ID where the students will get a document format file of the complete Application Form of MICAT 2024 attached. Later, they can access their registered accounts and print out the application form.

MICAT 2025 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

While preparing to attend the MICAT 2024 competitive entrance exam, the students must be aware if there are any changes in the MICAT 2024 Exam Pattern which will help them to know about the details like what is the mode of examination, marking criteria, important sections to concentrate on, if there is any negative marking, type of questions, the total number of questions and sections, duration of exam, etc. and will help them to have a better focus on the entrance test.

MICAT 2024 is a 2 hour 15 min, or 135-minute exam accessible in an online (computer-based) mode exam for joining management courses at the National level. Here the students will have to attend 144 questions, with each question carrying 1 mark. The exam paper has 3 sections to attend with categories where section- A has a Psychometric test and verbal ability. Section-B has General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and Divergent- Convergent Reasoning section-C has Descriptive test. This exam has an objective-type question pattern, i.e., Multiple Choice Questions, MCQ, and for each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

MICAT 2024 Syllabus

The syllabus for MICAT 2024 there isn’t any particular syllabus specified by MICA, but the question paper will have questions diversified under 3 different sections as mentioned above. The specific topics will be announced later on the website.

MICAT 2025 Admit Card

MICAT 2024 admit card/ hall ticket will be issued to the candidates who have registered themselves for the MICAT 2024 exam and have paid the application fees along with it. The admit cards will be released on the conducting body's official website by the second week of January 2024.

Firstly, the student must log in to the MICAT website and click on the ‘Admit card’ link and enter their login details and download the admit card/ hall ticket. He/she should carefully check the information mentioned on the admit cards, such as the applicant's name, exam date, venue, time, and contact details. Students should carry a valid photo ID proof issued by India's Government to the exam centre. They must pin in a recent passport size photograph on the hall ticket as they uploaded in the MICAT application form. It is a mandatory discipline for all MICAT applied students to carry their admit cards at the examination centre. If not, he/ she will not be allowed to take up the examination without the hall ticket along with anyone with considerable ID proof.

MICAT 2025 Counselling & Admission

MICAT Group exercise (GE) & Personal Interview (PI) rounds will be held in March 2024. To be qualified for admission, the students must qualify for these rounds. Here in the GE round, candidates will have to perform a group activity.

For the PI round, communication skills, knowledge, personality, and last the passion for the student's course will be evaluated with various tests and counter-questions by the panel. After going through all the process, qualified candidates will be further called for counseling.

In the GE round, it is compulsory to score 3.5 or more on a 5- 5-point scale, whereas, in the PI round, candidates must score 4 or more on a 5- 5-point scale. This also depends on the majority of recommendations made by all panel members of the PI round.

Lastly, the composite score will be evaluated based on three rounds, and for the final selection, CAT/ XAT/ GMAT score is considered for 20%, MICAT- 30%, PI- 30%, and GE- 20%. Students have to verify the important documents & fees at the institutions to complete the admission procedure in the final selection.

Cutoff Predictor

MICAT 2024 Cut off will be announced based on the student’s performance in the entrance test and their results that will get released online on the university's official website. Cut-down margin percentage is based on varied reasons, and it is mandatory for applicants to outreach the margin criteria to qualify for the examination & to further participate in various processes.

For increasing the chances to get admission to the desired institute of management, the students should exceed the cut-off margin set by the University authorities. Exam Pattern for PGDM- Communication program: 

  • the exam will be held online via Computer Based Test.
  • Exam Pattern comprises of 2 sections.
  • The exam will have both MCQs and subjective type questions.
  • Section-I of the exam will have 4 descriptive type questions.
  • Section-II of the exam will have a total of 94 questions (Psychometric Test- 30 statements, Reasoning & Verbal Ability- 35 questions, and General Knowledge- 25 questions)

Eligibility criteria for PGDM-C program:

  • Qualification requirement: Aspirants should be qualified in their Graduation degree (10+2+3) in any branch from a recognized by AIU.
