JCECE is an entrance exam for medical, engineering, and agricultural undergraduate programs. In the 3rd week of August 2023, the JCECE 2023 Exam will most likely be held. In the 3rd week of June 2023, students with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English can register for JCECE 2023 Application Form on the official website. JCECE 2023 Eligibility criteria

Students who meet all the JCECE 2023 eligibility criteria are eligible for the exam. The JCECEB oversees the exam's JCECE eligibility requirements. The main standards are set in stone and must be met by all students. Before applying, students should double-check the prerequisites for individual courses.

JCECE 2023 General Eligibility Criteria

Students must guarantee that they are under the JCECE's age limit. Check the age criteria here.:

  • B.V.Sc. & A.H. : The Student must be 17 years old by December 31st of the year in which they apply for admission.
  • B.Tech/ B.Sc. Agriculture, Forestry & Horticulture/ B.F.Sc: Students must be 17 years old by July 1st of the year in which they wish to enrol. And, the maximum age to apply is 22 years old. Students who turn 22 on July 1st of that year are not eligible.
  • The board will give a medical fitness exam to all students.
  • Students must have passed the following examinations from any Jharkhand educational institution for admission to graduate programs at a recognised university. The students must pass the qualifying examination.
  • Students must finish their class 12th.

B.Sc. (Hons) Forestry/Agriculture

The Student must have completed class 12th or equivalent from any recognised board, with Physics and Chemistry as required courses and either Biology or Mathematics as an elective.

B.F.Sc.

Pass in class 12th or equivalent from a recognised board with PCB/PCMB or Inter(Agriculture).

B.Sc. (Hons) Horticulture

12th pass or equivalent from a recognised board with PCB/ PCM/ PCMB/ PC Forestry /Agriculture.

B.V.Sc. & Animal Husbandry

class 12th or equivalent in any recognised board, with core physics, chemistry, biology, and English courses.

B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering & Dairy Technology)

The Student must have completed class 12th or equivalent in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognised board.

2. Fill the form

  • Use the registration number and date of birth to access the official website.
  • On the screen, the application form will appear.
  • Personal information, Student's name, Father's name, Mother's name, Date of Birth, Gender, Parent Domicile, Category, Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Servicemen Quota, Residential Eligibility, Annual Family Income, Nationality, and so on should be filled in. Students who successfully register for JCECE 2023 can access their Admit Cards by entering their registration number and date of birth. The JCECE merit list 2023 is an official list of students who have been selected for the exam. The list is organised by category. JCECE 2023 Counselling & Admission

The JCECEB conducts JCECE counseling. In the month of September 2023, JCECE 2023  counselling will be held online. JCECE offers admission to various courses in two rounds, based on the authority's Combined Merit List and Category-Wise Merit Lists.

For online counselling, students must go to the official website (jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in). The JCECE counselling 2023 will take place in two stages, with the first round's goal being to assign seats to pupils. If seats in the chosen universities remain unfilled, the JCECEB will conduct a second round of counselling.

Students in the General and OBC categories would have to pay Rs. 400 counselling fees to participate in JCECE 2023 counselling. Students from the ST/SC category must pay a counselling cost of Rs. 250. The fee will be paid by a bank challan, which will be available for download on the official website.
