NTA has announced the JEE main exam dates of 2022. It is scheduled to be conducted from April 16 to 21, 2022. The second phase of JEE Main exam is scheduled from May 24 to 29, 2022. Along with the exam dates, the authority has also announced the registration dates for JEE main exam 2022 Phase 1. The registration process has been started on March 1 2022. The last date to apply for JEE Main Session 1 is 31^st March 2022. JEE Main is the national level entrance exam, is conducted to offer admission to the engineering programs in NIT's, IIT's and CFTI's.

Precise highlights of JEE Main 2022 exam dates

Candidates willing to take up JEE Main exam must submit the application form online by visiting the website at jeemain.nta.nic.in, which is open till March 31, 2022. However, NTA has declared that there is no correction facility for JEE Main 2022. Hence, the candidates must fill out the application form carefully without making mistakes. They must verify all the details and the uploaded documents before submission. 

The authorities of JEE Main 2022 earlier announced the eligibility criteria and details on the number of attempts for the exam. According to the latest update given by NTA, the JEE Main 2022 exam will be conducted only twice a year, unlike previous years held four times a year. For the year 2022, the JEE Main exam will be held only in April and May 2022, and the eligible students must submit the application form online before the deadline.

Know the changes implemented in JEE Main 2022 application process

The authority has now revised the JEE Mains 2022 application Process. The application steps are divided into three simple steps as- Registration, Filling out the application form and documents and Fees payment.

• In the first step of the registration process, the link will be open for session 1 (April) and will be opened again for session 2 (May). 
• Next is the application process, where the candidate will enter details like personal details, educational qualification details, choosing for exam cities and centres, additional details, and document upload.
• An additional column in JEE main 2022 has been introduced in the application form to fill in details about the AADHAR number of the application and sections to know about the annual family income under the mandatory field.
• Once the JEE main 2022 application process is completed, candidates will get a confirmation mail, and the final scorecard will be sent to the candidates' registered email.
• They will be given an option for cross-checking all the documents and the attached photograph and signature. 

The new feature launched by NTA to give notifications for the registered candidates through the SANDES Application other than SMS or Email. And provide JEE main results in the UMANG and DigiLocker platforms which helps to download the documents like Confirmation Page, Admit Card of JEE Main 2022, Score Cards, etc.
