Sriguru Institute of Technology was established in 2009 by SriGuru Educational Trust to endow its students with the proficiencies of approaching up with inventions. Education is not purely gaining of realities but also of standards which aids to progress the various aspects of humanity. It is approved by AICE and affiliated with Anna University. In 2009, at Coimbatore Chennai, Sri Guru Institute of Technology as an engineering institute started as a private college. SGIT is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai, and AICTE approval for its clean functioning of the academic performance. This college offers a B.E engg course at the UG level as their only program. SGIT offers good training for its students willing to join their B.E engg course.  

• SGIT offers B-Tech/ B.E program is being provided in SGIT is with four years of course duration.
• The subject choices for B.E in SGIT is for five different options like Mechanical, CSE, EEE, E & CE and Civil Engg.
• The essential eligibility criteria and the selection needs are that students are passed in the 10^th and +2 board exams certified by the given state board. 
• They must have participated in the TNEA counselling process to get B.E admissions.

SGIT provides the B.E/B-Tech program with five main core subject majors options, and the cost of the fee for the B-Tech/ B.E course is INR 60,000 per annum and its costs around 2.4 L for the entire course.
