Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology was set up with the motto ‘Enlightening Technical Minds’ in 1998 in Coimbatore. The autonomous institute is affiliated with Anna University. The institute is accredited with an ‘A’ grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

MCET HOSTEL:

A well-furnished hostel is accessible for males and females independently. It has accommodation for over 1410 male and 714 female students. The occupancy is based on single, double and multi-member rooms in the hostel. The rooms are fine equipped, and amenities like fan, cupboard, tube light, etc., are delivered for relaxed living. Vegetarian food is provided on a separating base in a mess with a contemporary kitchen and fitted-out dining hall.
