Sri Krishna College of Engineering & Technology, Coimbatore (SKCET) is an AICTE-approved autonomous institution affiliated with Anna University and accredited with an 'A' Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college came into existence in 1998 to provide good quality education producing the most skilled engineers in the country. SKCET Coimbatore has been one of the most reliable educational institutions for over two decades. Admission to SKCET Coimbatore will be made as per the guidelines specified by Anna University. Applicants must ensure the required eligibility and cutoff criteria.

SKCET Coimbatore B Tech admissions are made as per the following procedure:

• Admission to BE/B Tech is offered through TNEA counseling. To register for TNEA, students must have pursued their HSC with an aggregate of 45% marks.
• Applicants must register using their basic details and are required to make the payment of
• Upon successful registration, candidates will be allotted 10 digits of random numbers. Counseling fees are INR 500 for General/OVC and INR 250 for SC/ST. Commonly known as TNEA Counselling Number.
• All applicants who have successfully registered for TNEA and have been allotted a random number must report to TNEA Facilitation Centre to verify their documents.
• TNEA merit list will be created based on marks obtained by the candidates in Class 12

• Now, those candidates whose names appear on the merit list have to attend the TNEA counseling and can choose the courses as per their requirements.
• TNEA DOTE will then release the list of final selected candidates. The admission for SKCET will be finalized after the required fees, and verification of necessary documents are paid.

SKCET Coimbatore PG Admission is made as per the following procedure:

• The college offers admission to the MBA, MCA, and M Tech at the PG level in various disciplines. The final seat allotment for all the PG courses is done through TANCA Counselling.
• TANCET Scores determine admission to the SKCET Coimbatore MBA or MCA. Applicants shall have completed their UG degree with a least 50%. Students who have valid CAT Scores are also eligible to apply for MBA.
• Admissions in ME are offered only to those candidates who qualify for TANCET or have already qualified for GATE. The applications are accepted through the website of GOAPS. The applicant must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id. 
• Candidates can register online for TANCA Counselling through the official portal. All they need to have is an active number and email ID. Enter the relevant and personal details. Click on the submit button and make an online payment.

Regarding placement, SKCET Coimbatore is one of the best engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu State. The college not only focuses on jobs but also provides internships and training courses to its students. For more than two decades, SKCET has continued to provide the best education to the students with modern educational facilities and excellent teaching staff.
