Sree Sastha College of Engineering was established in 1999 and is located in Chennai. It is a private college that has received approval from AICTE and the NBA. SSCE is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai.

Sree Sastha College of Engineering courses are given at UG, PG, and doctoral levels. SSCE is known for its strong research, industrial interaction, and societal orientation. It has a rich academic culture and provides students with the best education possible.

The programs offered at the UG level are B-Tech, B.E, B-Tech lateral, and BE lateral. To be eligible for admission to the Sree Sastha College of Engineering course, applicants must have passed 10+2/HSC board exams in the science stream with a minimum mark of 50%. The selections will be based on TNEA counseling results. The overall cutoff in TNEA counseling for the given B-Tech specializations is 102067 - 175317 rank.

At the PG level, the College offers M-Tech, M.E, and MBA programs. The basic requirement is to have passed a graduation degree in any stream with at least a mark of 50%. The accepted entrance exam for admissions in GATE and TANCET. The accepted TANCET cutoff for BA admissions is 27.

SSCE maintains a dedicated placement cell to oversee all employment-related activities. It invites companies for campus recruitment and also organizes internships. The placement cell will be responsible for initiating all the employment activities and giving a successful placement percentage for every academic year. The average package offered to students, as per the records, is INR 3 LPA.

The Sree Sastha College of Engineering has a sprawling campus that offers students a serene environment to learn. SSCE also has a boys and girls hostel with separate facilities for both. The Sree Sastha College of Engineering hostels have 167 rooms that can accommodate four students each. Sree Sastha College of Engineering Admission Process 

Students willing to apply for SSCE courses need to fill out the application form from Anna University. After that, the candidates will be called for on-campus Counseling.

• The Application form for SSCE can be obtained from the College.
• The admission criteria are based on TNEA results. Its application forms are available in both online and offline mode.
• After filling out the TEA form, they must attach all the required documents required to be submitted in offline mode.
• The form fees of TNEA are INR 500/- for general candidates and INR 250/- for reserved candidates.
• The applicants will have to pay the required application fees for the application form to be accepted. The mode of payment will be offline or online (Net Banking/ Debit/ Credit Card)
• The offline payment mode is through DD, using the name and address of the College.
