Shivalik College of Engineering

Rijan Educational Society started the Shivalik College of Engineering (SCE) in the year 2008. The college offers courses like a diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering and B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering. The college has industrial collaborations with companies like The Institute of Engineers, ISHRAE, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and National Institute-Industry Forum for Energy and Corporations Readiness Centre FNC Technologies.

• The college covers 16 acres of land with facilities like transport, banks, gym, hostel, auditorium, library, laboratory, cafeteria, medical, sports, and computer labs.
• The college has 3 buses running in three different routes to provide safe and on-time travel of staff and students.
• The library has nearly 2500 titles and 24000 volumes for engineering streams with good seating arrangements for the students.

The college has a hostel facility with laundry service, first aid facility, Wi-Fi and internet connectivity, library, ATM, and cafeteria with a fee of INR 65-70k for male students and INR 67-72k female students. SHIVA Fest is the annual cultural and technical fest conducted in the college which improves the extra-curricular activities among the students rather than academics.

The college placement cell has links with huge national and multinational companies to provide job opportunities for the students. The students having a 60% score in the overall semesters and 75% attendance are provided with career opportunities in reputed companies. The highest salary offered to the students is INR 9 LPA, and the average is around INR 3-4 LPA.
