Uttaranchal University Admission

Admission in Uttaranchal University is based on merit or entrance test performance. In addition, UU also conducts interviews for aspirants before granting admissions. For MBA and M Tech courses, applicants have to undertake the university-based exam which is Uttaranchal University Entrance Exam. However, students who have qualified in any of the national level exams, are exempted from UUEE.

Out of the total intake, 40% of seats are allotted to the Uttarakhand Domiciles under State Quota. The remaining 60% of seats are allotted to the students from All India. In case, State Quota seats remain vacant after the allotment process, then the seats will be offered by All India Students.

Uttaranchal University B Tech Admission

• UU offers B Tech Programmes under its Component Institute which is the Uttaranchal Institute of Technology. B Tech is available in five major specializations. They are CSE, ECE, Civil, Mechanical, and Aerospace Engineering.

• Students who have passed 10+2 with a min of 60% marks can apply for B Tech in Uttaranchal University. They shall have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their main subject.
• Admission to the B Tech is based on JEE Main Entrance Test score. To be eligible, students have to perform well in JEE Main and score as per the cut-off criteria.
• By considering JEE Main scores, UU will compute the merit list. Those students whose names are featured on the merit list will be able to attend a personal interview for further selection.
• Uttaranchal University B Tech Fees is INR 1.7 Lakhs per annum. The total cost will be approx INR 6.90 Lakhs for four years.

Uttaranchal University MBA Admission

• Uttaranchal University MBA is available in five specializations. Students who possess a UG degree with a least 50% marks are eligible to apply for admission.
• The selection of the applicants will be based on their performance in the entrance test.
• UU accepts the valid scores of MAT, CAT, CMAT, XAT, or any other equivalent exam scores.
• Suppose students who have not attempted any of the above-mentioned exams, then they have to sit for Uttaranchal University Entrance Exam. (UUEE)
• The final merit list will be prepared by considering the entrance test scores. Students whose names are included on the merit list have to undergo a personal interview.
• Uttaranchal University MBA Fees is INR 1.79 Lakhs for the 1^st year. Whereas the 2^nd year fee is INR 1.7 Lakhs.

Uttaranchal University Law Admission

• UU offers Five-year Integrated and three-year law courses such as BALLB, BBA LLB, and LLB.
• Students who have passed 10+2 with a least 45% marks can apply for Uttaranchal University Law 5-year integrated courses.
• Whereas, students who hold bachelor’s degrees with 45% marks can apply for Uttaranchal University LLB.
• Applicants who wish to secure BALLB or BBA LLB admission, have to appear for an entrance test ULET. (Uttaranchal Law Entrance Test) Besides, it also accepts the valid score of CLAT scores.
• Admission to the three-year LLB is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. UU does not conduct any entrance test for LLB. However, preference will be given to CLAT qualifiers during the selection process.
• Uttaranchal University BALLB Fees is INR 1.8 lakhs per annum. Whereas the total cost for five years is INR 9.10 Lakhs.
