Ramiah Institute of Legal Studies Admission

RILS follows the rules of the Bar Council of India for granting admission. Students can apply for admission by filling up the Ramiah Institute of Legal Studies online application form. The admission process is merit and entrance exam based. To gain admission to RILS, applicants must obtain a minimum of 45% in their 10+2 qualifying examination. There is a 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates. Additionally, they must have cleared the CLAT, LSAT, or AILET.

Ramiah Institute of Legal Studies Scholarship

The Institute offers scholarship schemes to students. Additionally, education loan facilities are available through nationalized banks. The Institute is an approved partner institute of several banks. It also provides financial guidance and assistance to selected students. The student's selection for the scholarship is based on an aptitude test called the RILS-Sat Test.

RILS offers degree and post-graduate scholarships to deserving students from rural areas. The minimum requirement is 60% aggregate marks in the science stream. The scholarship is worth INR 500 per month for a degree student and INR 750 per month for a PG student.

Ramiah Institute of Legal Studies Placement

The placement Cell in RILS focuses on getting students a job in a reputed law firm. The placement committee organizes several workshops and career guidance sessions. In addition, the Ramiah Institute of Legal Studies internship program invites law firms to conduct recruitment drives on campus. The Institute also hosts mock interviews for students so that they can get a feel for the interview process.

At the Institute, the placement committee comprises active faculty members responsible for placing students. The placement committee members help students in preparing bio-data and application documents. They also help students highlight their extra-curricular activities and internships. Students are also advised to prepare a folder that contains their CVs, passport-sized photographs, and copies of their 10th and 12th marks.

To join Law after 12th candidates will have to enroll for BA LLB course which is for the duration of 5 years. The BA LLB course at Ramiah Institute of Legal Studies has the fee structure and the admission will be done based on the CLAT or AILET entrance exam score.
