Netaji Institute of Engineering and Technology was started in 2004. It is a self-financed company. NIET is AICTE-approved and affiliated with JNTUH. The campus area is spread across 42 acres of land. The Institute offers courses in streams like Engineering and Management. Most of the admissions depend on merit and entrance tests.

They have secured some recognition and rankings for their hard work and performance. The primary intention of the Institute is to build the students' personalities and impart technical skills to achieve success. 

Besides the academic programs, the College encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities, educational events, and more. The deserving students are provided with scholarships as well.

However, the College still needs to gain expertise in placements, but only some companies visit the campus for the interview process.

NIET Hyderabad provides B-tech and MBA programs in its curriculum. AICTE and the Ministry of HRD approve the syllabus of the programs at NIET. B-Tech is 4 years program available in 5 different specializations. The Netaji Institute of Engineering and Technology B-Tech fees is INR 42000 per annum.

The MBA program is a two-year course that benefits students interested in management studies. The Netaji Institute of Engineering and Management MBA fee is INR 54000 for the entire program. 

Netaji Institute of Engineering and Technology Admission Process

NIET, Hyderabad, provides their academic curriculum in B-Tech at UG level and MBA at PG level programs. The NIET Hyderabad admissions are based on the previous academic merit of the candidates and followed by entrance exam scores.

The College will consider the academic eligibility of the students to apply for admission.

For the B-Tech program, the applicants must have completed 10+2 board exams with a minimum of 65% in the science stream. In addition, it must have compulsory subjects of PCM. As selection criteria, the students must have appeared for TS EAMCET. Students with qualified cutoff scores will be eligible for admission.

NIET Hyderabad cutoff

For MBA admissions, the Institute requires the students to complete their graduation degree in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate. In addition, to be qualified for the MBA program, the applicants must have taken the TSICET entrance exam at the state level.

On the other hand, the candidates can apply for direct admission if they have appeared for the entrance exam but still need to meet the eligibility cutoff scores. The college authority will guide the candidates going through the admission process.

 Applications for college admissions are accepted in online and offline modes.

• In the first step, the college authority will screen the candidates. Then, they will verify the candidate's application based on their academic merit and scores secured in the entrance test. 
• In the next step, the candidates will be called for personal Interaction. It is one of the essential steps in the admission process at NIET. This step is to analyze the candidate's intellectual and interpersonal communication skills. 
• Lastly, the candidate will be given the admission offer per their merit list and the interview performance after the confirmation.

Even though the College has yet to show consistent results in the placements section, the College has a placement division working towards better results.

The recruiters visiting the campus are Wipro, Capgemini, Amazon, Flipkart, etc. The highest package recorded is between 5 and 7.5 LPA. The Netaji Institute of Engineering and Technology average package is INR 3.5 to 5 LPA.

NIET offers various amenities that help build the confidence and overall development of the students. The entire campus is spread across 42 acres of land.

Some available facilities are well-equipped classrooms, audio/ visual rooms, a library, computer labs, medical and sports facilities, a cafeteria, a hostel, a gym, and more.

The students are also provided accommodation facilities for those who stay far away and cannot travel daily. The hostel rooms are well-furnished, with clean beds, fans, tables, and other amenities.

Also, the hostel will provide quality mess food (veg/ non-veg). The rooms are provided on a sharing basis, with up to 4 members allocated in one room. The hostel fee is INR 50 K per annum.  

Netaji Institute of Engineering and Technology Scholarships

The College provides students only with merit-based scholarships. The College will follow the guidelines of the state government and allow relaxation. The type of scholarship is Smt. K. Anasuya Scholarship and Dr. A. Krishna Sarma Scholarship.

A certain percentage is discounted for reserved category students who meet the eligibility criteria. Also, students from poor financial family backgrounds will be availed of certain relaxation in the tuition fees.

The concession on tuition fees applies only to students who have secured more than 75% or more. The applicants must submit the docs that can act as proof to offer a scholarship at the time of admission.
