Osmania University is a well-known institute established in the academic year 1918. This university offers full-time education for undergraduate, postgraduate, and research. The admissions to any courses in this university are based on the standard entrance test conducted by the university, and the application process will begin in April.

UG Admissions:

Osmania University offers courses at under graduation level with various disciplines like Arts, Commerce, Technology, Science, Pharmacy, etc. this university offers courses like BBA, B.Ed, B.Sc., B.Com, LL.B, B.P. Ed etc. Candidates have to appear for the entrance exam for each course to gain eligibility and possess the minimum eligibility mentioned.

For admissions in UG courses, students have to meet the minimum eligibility as mentioned below:

  • For admissions in B.Com, candidates need to appear for OUCET, an MCQ-based exam conducted at the university.
  • For admissions in LL.B, candidates need to have appeared for TS LAWCET, which qualifies the students to take this course.
  • For admissions in B.Ed, candidates need to have appeared for AP EdCET to qualify for this course, and entries in B.L.I.Sc. University entrance test has to be taken by candidates seeking admission in this course.
  • For admissions in B.Tech, BE, and B.Pharm, candidates need to have good marks in TS-EAMCET, and for B.H.M.C.T, students have to take up the aptitude test that the university conducts.

Despite the stream based on TS EAMCET, Osmania University B.Tech admissions will be granted. These application forms will be available in April then, by June or July, admissions to B.Tech will be made. Only by filling out the application form candidates will be proceeded further and admitted to the college

This university is the best. It always provides good education to everyone who is part of the institute. I have completed my B. Tech in this university was very necessary for me to score a top rank to get a seat in this college. I wrote the entrance exam called EAMCET, and according to our marks and the caste we belong to, they will allot us a seat. Osmania University's cut-off in the EAMCET is 3000, the maximum rank and below. I took part in the state-level counseling online, and because of the marks I had got in CET, I could get admission to this college.

This is a state university, and direct admission to Osmania University for BCA or any other program is not offered. Candidates only based on merit or entrance exam shall get seats.
