KLR College of Engineering and Technology is one of the leading institutes located in Palwancha, Telangana. The institute is affiliated with a state university, JNTU. The All India Council approves KLRCET for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, New Delhi. The institute was established in 2008 to provide quality students and empower them to become highly qualified working professionals and successful individuals in both their personal and professional lives.

  • KLRCET offers a full-time on-campus B.Tech course in the field of Engineering and Technology.
  • For admission to the B Tech at KLR College, candidates must appear in the state-level entrance exam, which is TS EAMCET.
  • To be eligible to apply for the B.Tech course at KLRCET, candidates must have passed 10+2 from any recognized board of education with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. In addition, candidates must score a minimum of 45% marks in aggregation.

  • KLRCET offers M.Tech courses in the field of Engineering and Technology. Candidates willing to take M.Tech courses at KLRCET must take either the GATE or TS PGECET Entrance Exam.
  • Candidates must have a BE or B. Tech degree in a relevant field from any UGC or AIU-approved university. Their final evaluation will be based on marks scored in the entrance exam, GATE, or PGECET.

Candidates seeking admission to the Polytechnic course at KLRCET must appear in the state-level entrance exam, TS POLYCET. The candidates will be shortlisted based on marks obtained in the entrance exam.

KLR College of Engineering and Technology Admission Process

  • The admission in UG and PG courses at KLRCET is entrance exam-based.
  • Candidates seeking admission to UG courses must apply on the official website of TS EAMCET. Shortlisted candidates will also be called for an admission counselling round inside the campus.
  • 70% of seats will be given based on entrance exams conducted by Telangana Government. The remaining 30% of seats will be allocated under NRI or management quota.
  • Candidates seeking admission via management quota can visit the campus of the institute and apply there.
  • Candidates seeking admission to MCA or MBA courses at KLRCET must visit the official website of TS ICET and submit the application there. The entrance exam will determine 70% of seats, and the management or NRI quota will determine the remaining 30%. The college administration will carry forward the admission in the management quota.
  • Candidates willing to be admitted to M.Tech courses have to apply for GATE or PGECET.
  • For admission in Diploma courses at KLRCET, candidates have to visit the official website of TS POLYCET and submit the application form there.
  • All the shortlisted candidates for UG, PG, and Diploma courses will be called for counseling inside the KLRCET campus.
