The Loyola Institute of Technology (LIT), an institution for Christian minorities in higher education, was founded in 2003 with the objective of providing quality. The Institute is a first level in the creation and dissemination of knowledge through a timely and rigorous experience that allows the students to be technically competent and ethically bold to serve society for the benefit of humanity.

• The institute works with governments, research, industry and development organizations to promote particular research, employability, entrepreneurship in nation building. The institute offers several UG and PG programs for different disciplines.
• The institute offers the following scholarships for candidates related to the exam and the reserved categories, for example: National Scholarship, State Backward Course (BC), and Indian Government Scholarship for SC / ST students, Past Due Course Scholarship (MBC) etc.

The institute also send students to internships, training and project work in renowned institutions, organizations. So far, more than 453 offer letters have been issued by several reputable companies. Institute offers a hostel with good best facilities. It is located on the campus of the university and has a capacity of 350 students, of which 300 are for UG students and 50 for postgraduates. There is a separate hostel for gents and ladies.
