GRD Institute offers academic programs in UG and PG standards. Under UG standards are BCA, B-Tech, BBA, B.Pharm, B.Sc., BHM etc. At the PG level, they offer M-Tech, MBA, and M.Pharm. All the non-engineering programs at UG are offered for 3 years. The minimum eligibility criteria are to pass 10+2 board exams with a least of 50% aggregate in core subjects. The selection will be based on merit scores in the qualifying exam.

For GRD IMT B-Tech admission, the candidates must have passed 10+2 board exams and PCM subjects with a min of 50%. It is 4 years which is available in respective subject streams. For Diploma admissions at GRD IMT, applicants must have passed 10+2 board exams with 50% scores. There is no entrance exam required for selection.

For the PG admissions, the institute will require the students to have completed their graduation in any stream from a recognized University with a min of 50% aggregate. The course duration of the program is for 2 years. For M-Tech admissions, the selection will be based on GATE scores held at the national level. GRD College Dehradun placement cell functions towards developing career opportunities. The students will receive proper placement training by the end of the program. The training will involve a pre-placement talk, industry interaction, guest lectures, cracking aptitude tests, and GD and PI rounds personality training.

There are various types of scholarships that GRD IMT provides to provide financial assistance for its students. To avail of this provision, the candidates must have met the specified eligibility criteria. Below are a few of the scholarship types offered by the college:

Merit Scholarship: This type is applicable only for 1st year for those who have secured merit scores. The merit percentage required for a fee waiver is 60% and above. The accepted percentage is:

Uttarakhand State Domicile Scholarship: Here, 10% relaxation is provided for students residing in the Uttarakhand state. Also, around 40% of seats will be reserved for the students for all of the programs offered by the institute.

GRD IMT Scholarship for Girls: The institute offers 5% relaxation in the tuition for the girl candidates. It is applicable for the UG/PG and Diploma courses.
