Coimbatore Marine College offers admission to both technical and non-technical courses in Maritime Stream. CMC is one of the most preferred choices for students who wish to study Maritime Education. The college offers B Tech, BSc, BBA at the UG level and MBA at the PG level. ICRA approves all the courses offered by CMC. It is also an ISO Certified Institute. • Students willing to apply for B Tech Marine Engineering admission at CMC Coimbatore have to clear the entrance test that is IMU CET.  Since CMC is affiliated with Indian Maritime University, admissions will be made as per the university's guidelines ( IMU )
• B Tech Selection criteria is based on IMU CET rank. In addition, students have to secure a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in 10 + 2 PCM Subjects. Along with this, students must be physically fit as per the norms defined by the college.
• Students who have done a Diploma with 60% marks can apply for B Tech Lateral admission at CMC. Also, students must attend the entrance exam.
• CMC offers a UG degree BSc in Nautical Science for three years. A student who has passed 10+2 with a minimum of 60% in PCM subjects and 50% in English subjects can apply for BSc admission in CMC.
• BSc selection criteria depend on the IMU CET score. After qualifying in an entrance exam, eligible students have to attend the counselling
• CMC provides admission to the BBA in Logistics & Shipping for three years. Admission to the BBA in CMC is based on 10+2 merit.  The college does not conduct any entrance exam for BBA. Thus, students must pass in 10+2. There is no specific minimum qualifying marks.
• The MBA course at CMC is available in Logistics & Shipping. The duration of the course is two years. Aspirants who have done their UG degree in any stream can apply for MBA admission in CMC Coimbatore.
• MBA selection criteria in CMC depends on the entrance exam score. MBA admission seekers have to sit for the entrance test IMU CET. If students have valid scores in any of the national level aptitude tests, they will be exempted from IMU CET.
• CMC accepts CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT or XAT scores. Additionally, students must appear for a Personal Interview, a final selection round conducted by the college (Counselling / Interview)
• The mode of the CMC Coimbatore application process is online. For admission to the BSc, B Tech, and MBA requires an IMU CET score. • B Tech Marine Engineering fees at CMC Coimbatore cost INR 11 Lakhs in total for the entire four years. The annual intake for B Tech is 80 seats.
