The King Engineering College was established in the year 2010 by Rev.Fr.Dr.J.E.Arulraj and managed by DMI Sisters. The Tamil Nadu Government accepts the college with recognition of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the affiliation of Anna University in Chennai. Christ the King Engineering College Admission

Christ, The King Engineering College is one of the most preferred colleges for engineering aspirants. It provides admission to the UG degree B Tech in five major disciplines. They are Civil, CSE, EEE, ECE and Mechanical Engineering. The annual intake for B Tech is 480 seats. Before applying for admission at CTKEC, candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria defined by the college.

• B Tech admission in Christ the King Engineering college is based on TNEA valid rank. Selection criteria depend on TNEA Counselling.
• Candidates who have passed 12^th with at least 50% marks in PCM subjects are eligible to apply for TNEA Counselling. SC / ST Category can obtain a minimum of 45% marks in 12^th.
• The mode of the TNEA application process is online. Applicants have to visit the Anna University website to fill up an online application fee. The TNEA application fees cost INR 500
• After the conclusion of the TNEA application process, Anna University will release the TNEA merit list. Based on 12^th merit, TNEA rank will be allotted for each individual.
• Candidates whose names included in the merit list can participate in TNEA Counselling. The mode of counselling procedure is offline.
• Most importantly, students' TNEA rank should be within the Christ the King Engineering College TNEA Cut off norms. Then, only students are eligible to choose this college while filling option entry form.
• Students who have done their Diploma or BSc course with a minimum of 50% marks can apply for B Tech Lateral Entry admission at Christ The King College. Such students must have studied Mathematics as the main subject.
• Students seeking admission under B Tech Lateral Entry can apply online through the college website. Or, they can visit the college campus to fill up the form.

Christ the King Engineering College Fees Structure

B Tech fees at Christ the King College cost approx. INR 2 Lakhs in total for four years. Students can make the payment of INR 50k per annum. The fees structure remain the same for all the B Tech Branches.
