The Central University of Jammu began in 2011. It has been accredited by NAAC and recognized by UGC. The Central Government fully funds it. The campus covers 600 Acres and is under construction at Village Bagla, Raya Suchani in District Samba. The college is envisioned to be a leading center of higher learning, integrating culture, knowledge, philosophy, science, and values with modern concepts and practices. CUJ Jammu offers five-year Integrated (UG/PG) programs and various PG and Ph.D. programs in different streams.

Central University of Jammu Courses includes Integrated MSc, B Tech, MBA, MA, MSc, and BA+B. Ed, M Tech, M.Ed, and B Voc.  To get admitted, you need to pass a test called CUET, which NTA conducts. During the CUET counseling, you must select the right college and course code. If not, your admission won't be confirmed. In the case of B Tech, JEE Main scores are considered. Most postgraduate courses require you to have an undergraduate degree in a relevant field and at least 50% marks overall. You can find the admission application on their website. Central University of Jammu Course Admission

Getting into any program at the CUJ depends on how well you do in a test called the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET), run by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Once you've chosen, you have to finish all the paperwork and pay your fees to be officially admitted. If you don't do this on time, you might lose your spot. Thus, submit the forms before Central University of Jammu's admission date. The list of chosen students will be put on the university website.

• For Integrated PG Programs: Applicants must have completed 10+2 with Biology, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, or Maths as their main subjects, with a minimum of 50% total marks or equivalent from a recognized Board.
• For B.Voc. Programs, a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in 12th grade. F
• For Master's Degree Programs, Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree (10+2+3) from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in the relevant stream. Selection is based on your marks obtained in the CUET entrance exam.

B.Tech admission

• You must have a 60% aggregate mark in 10+2. For SC/ST or PwD candidates, the minimum requirement is 55% aggregate marks.
• Mathematics and physics are a must for 10+2 exams.
• B.Tech admissions will be done through JEE-Mains).

MBA Eligibility

• UG Degree of at least three years duration
• A minimum of 60% of total marks is required.
• Admission may also be offered based on CAT/MAT score.

Central University of Jammu Placements

In the 2023 placements, the Central University of Jammu's highest package offered to MBA students was INR 7.25 LPA, with an average package of INR 3.67 LPA. Additionally, a total of 20 B Tech offers and 44 MBA offers were made. Among these, the Central University of Jammu CSE Placement rate was good. It received the highest number of job offers. The highest package is INR 7.2 LPA. Some of the top recruiters during the 2023 placements included Satguru Travels, Viaens, KENT, Planet Spark, and APML.

As per the CUJ Placement 2022 Placement, the median package offered during the MBA placements in was INR 3 LPA. Out of 129 students, 75 were successfully placed. Moreover, in the same year, the Central University of Jammu Average Package for UG 5-year and PG 2-year placements stood at INR 3.5 LPA and INR 3.1 LPA, respectively.

At the Central University of Jammu, students have all they need to study and live comfortably. The library has lots of books, and there's a computer lab with internet all the time. Students can enjoy meals at the cafeteria. For those from far away, there are Central University of Jammu hostels to stay in. There's one for boys and three for girls, close to the campus. These hostels have basic furniture and food arrangements. Plus, there's a sports area and a health center for medical needs.
