Bankura University

Bankura University is a dream realized under the West Bengal Act XIX 2013, which was shaped by Hon’ble Education Minister and Hon’ble Chief Minister Smt Mamata Bandyopadhyay long-apprize the dream of the public of Bankura in the year 2014. The university has 4 units: the School of Social Science, School of Literature, Language and Cultural Studies, and School of Science.

• The university offers the greatest facilitative amenities to benefit students and their requirements. Laboratories, Cafeteria, Library, Computer Labs, Auditorium, Sports, and the campus is WI-FI supported.
• The Faculty members in the university are dedicated and well-qualified for rendering education to the students effectively that benefits them in the future.
• The University is ISO 9001:2000 certified and has more than 380 faculty members to provide education to more than 1000 students in their chosen steam.

The university has an MoU with two International Universities, the University of Wollongong in Australia and the University of Rovira Virgili in Tarragona, Spain, for encouraging staff visits, joint teaching programs, organizing academic meetings, and seminars, and many more. The university has 26 affiliated colleges for offering courses and follows up the rules and regulations as per the university.
