The Alpha College of Engineering was founded in 2006 with a quiet area of ??60 acres, approved by AICTE and affiliated with Anna University. Alpha knows no limits of knowledge and realizes that the edge becomes weaker and weaker when it moves. Within its limits, common knowledge embodies the spirit of research, inquiry and quality.

• The institute has a specialized faculty that provides hands-on classroom experience to ensure that students become successful engineers. The institute offers UG and PG degrees in a variety of engineering and administrative roles.
• The Institute aims to train aspirants through innovative teaching techniques, guide them towards better thinking and education based on Promote education, and sensitize students about social responsibility and good citizens. Each department is equipped with advance and modern equipment and machinery that meet the requirements of the curriculum of the Anna University. The Central Library offers academic support to all faculty members & students.
• The college offers its deserving students the Alpha Merit scholarship program. Students who achieve at least 90% of the points on the qualifying exam prescribed by Anna University are eligible (merit scholarship). The scholarship continues in the following semester / year if the scholar achieves at least 90% or more in each year/sem. Placement cell mainly introduced to develop business skills and close the gap between work and education.

The ACE Career Development Cell is designed to help ACE Academic Departments create graduates for the industry that will shape the future of the country. The activities of the CDC include activities related to placement, training and advanced studies. In the first year of their studies, all students receive training in basic and communication skills, verbal and non-verbal skills, etc., which are integrated into their regular class schedule. The hostel is available for boys and girls separately.
