MBBS course at AIMS will be provided for four and half years to the students in the medical field. Admission and selection for the MBBS course will be done as per the rules set by the Medical Council of India. AIMS Admission to MBBS course will be through candidates scored in NEET UG entrance test conducted by NTA.

  • The minimum eligibility requirement for MBBS in AIMS is to pass the 10+2 exam in Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and Physics as main subjects.
  • AIMS, Bangalore admission to MBBS course is done through NEET UG entrance exam scores followed by KEA Counselling.
  • The applicants who have passed the entrance exam with qualifying AIMS NEET Cut off marks will have to appear in the counselling process for seat allotment.
  • At AIMS, 40% of seats are reserved for the Government quota. Domicile Karnataka Students are eligible to secure admission under this quota. (Intake capacity is 60 seats)
  • 40% of seats are reserved as Private Quota. Under this quota, non-Karnataka applicants are eligible to apply. (Intake capacity is 60 seats)
  • The remaining 30% of seats are allotted for the MBBS Management quota in Adichunchanagiri College. (Intake capacity is 30 seats) NRI/Foreign Nationals can apply under this quota.
  • It is mandatory for all the students to take the NEET UG entrance test to get medical seats.

  • Besides MBBS Course, AIMS offers a three-year MD course in 12 disciplines, and an MS course is offered in 5 specializations.
  • Adichunchanagiri Institute MD/MS admission is done through the NEET PG entrance test followed by KEA counselling.
  • The candidates who have scored above 50% in a qualifying exam MBBS will undertake the NEET PG Examination.
  • The applicants will have to register for the entrance exam on the NEET PG official website, and the course is registered with the Medical Council of India.
  • After completing the entrance test with qualifying marks, students will have to appear in the counselling process for the seat allotment in the preferred College.
