WBJECA MCA 2024 is commonly known as West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination which is conducted to provide admission in the post graduate course to MCA in different Government/Private colleges situated in various parts of West Bengal. WBJECA MCA 2024 is a state level examination. The interested candidates applying for the MCA through this entrance test can seek admission only in the colleges in the West Bengal state. This is Computer based examination.

WBJECA MCA 2024 has some eligibility criteria set for the applicants. The candidates need to be eligible to appear for the entrance test. The candidates need to satisfy the eligibility criteria before processing further for the registration, if not the admission might get cancelled by the exam authority.

The application form of WBJECA 2024 will be available from the month of January 2024. The registration can be done online on the official website of the JECA. The following mentioned are the few steps to be followed by the candidates while doing the registration of the application form.
WBJECA 2024 exam will be held on 15 May 2024. The exam will be Computer based Test Mode (CBT). The exam pattern will be Objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) pattern. The question paper will be divided into 2 divisions: Paper 1 and Paper 2. The total duration of the exam time will be for 3 hours.
The following are the details of the paper wise divisions:
Paper 1: Paper 1 will consist of 50 MCQs based questions on Mathematics which will carry 100 marks. Hence each correct answer will reward the student with 2 marks each and ½ marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The total time duration will be 2 hours for this paper.
WBJECA 2024 admit card will be available online on the official website of JECA on www.wbjeeb.in. The admit card will be declared in the month of February. The candidates can download the admit card from the link provided. The admit card contains all the necessary information of the students such as applicant name, exam centre; roll no and many other required details. The candidates should carry the admit card along with them to the examination centre, otherwise, they might not be allowed to enter the hall and sit for the examination. The candidates are advised to keep the admit card safe for future use.
The result of JECA 2024 will be announced in the month of June. The result will be available online on the official website. After the successful completion of the examination, the result will get declared.
The counselling of WEBJECA 2024 will start from the month of July/August 2024 (tentative). The candidates will be called for the counseling according to the score obtained by them in the entrance test. The merit list will be prepared by the exam authority according to which the applicant can choose the location and institute. The candidate must carry the original certificates for the verification in the counseling process.
