UPTU MCA 2024 Application Form, Exam Dates, Eligibility, Pattern and Syllabus

The important events for the examination are given below:

The candidate who wants to appear in the UPTU exam must fulfil the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam which is been mentioned below:

• The candidates should be residents of Uttar Pradesh.
• The candidate appearing for the exam should be scored an aggregate of 50% (In the case of the general candidate) and 45% (In the case of reserved category candidate) in the qualifying examination. Only B.Arch will require the qualifying marks as 50% for both categories.
• For lateral entry the candidates must have three year diploma in relative field with 50% (45% in case of reserved candidates).
• There is no age limit for UPTU.

UPTU 2024 application form will be available from the last week of February 2024 via online mode in the official website. There will not be any offline mode to fill the application form and not required to send the printed application form to the university.

The candidates must be remit the application fee as Rs.1000/- (for Male / Transgender Candidates of general and OBC category) or Rs.500/- (for SC/ST/PWD/Female) through the debit/credit card or the net banking.

The examination pattern & syllabus for UPTU MCA 2024 is given below:-

• The exam will consist of 100 multiple choice questions
• The total marks will be for 400 and it is a computer based test
• For every correct answer they will be four marks given and there is no negative marking in the exam.
• The exam duration will be for two hours.
• The exam paper will be available in English and Hindi.

Admit card will be available in the official website from the month of April tentatively, candidates can download their admit card by entering they application number. The candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination center without the admit card, in case the candidate have not received the admit card in the portal to download then they have to report to the exam controller office.

The results will be declared in the official website of the university by May 2024, the notification for the declaration date of the results will be announced by the officials or in the national newspapers. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam; merit position with the total marks will be available after the announcement of the result.

The counselling will be held online through the internet.  The candidates will be qualified on the basis of the merit list, successful candidates will be called for verification of documents at the document verification/counselling centre. The counselling letter will not be sent by post.
