FCI or Food Corporation of India was established in the year of 1965. FCI had its first district office at Thanjavur which has gained high prominence as the Rice Bowl of Tamil Nadu. FCI is considered as the organization of the central government of India for chain supply of food grains for the country. Food corporation of India will conduct the written examination for hiring staffs in South, North, West, East and North East zones. There are essentially 3 papers in this examination. Two papers comprise of multiple choice questions. One paper comprises of questions for technical cadre. SSC FCI Recruitment Exam Date

In North and North Eastern Zone, the application form will be released between February and March for the post of Management Trainee, Junior Engineer, Typist and Assistance Grade. Admit card will be released in September Month. The examination will be conducted tentatively in the month of October. 

SSC FCI Recruitment Eligibility criteria

It is mandatory that candidates should fill the eligibility criteria for appearing in the examination. Failing to meet the criteria may result in disqualification during the verification process. Candidates who are willing to apply for FCI 2018 should have complete graduation from a recognized university in any discipline.

General candidates need to score an aggregate of 60% in Bachelor or master degree. Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, and Physically handicapped students need to obtain at least 55% in bachelor or master degree. For the post of management trainee, the age limit is 28 years. On the other hand, the age limit is 30 years for the post of Junior Engineer. The age limit for the position of Assistant Grade is 27 years whereas, for typist position, the limit is 25 years. There is a relaxation of age for candidates of reserved category. 

SSC FCI Recruitment Application Form & fees

Candidates who are willing to appear for SSC FCI can download the application form from the official website of SSC FCI. Fill all the required details after searching the right link. The next step is inclusive of uploading a passport size photograph with the digital signature. Do not forget to take a printout of the application form.

Candidates who are willing to appear in FCI examination need to pay an application fee of Rs. 600. The application fee can be paid by means of PO, Pay Order, Demand Draft, Bankers Cheque in favor of Food Corporation of India which is payable at Mumbai.

SSC FCI Recruitment Syllabus & Exam Pattern

Students who are willing to start preparation of SSC FCI examination can download the syllabus for preparing for the examination. The examination paper is inclusive of different subjects such as quantitative aptitude, general intelligence, English language and general awareness.

The SSC FCI examination is inclusive of two main papers which are prelim and Main. Candidates require cleaning one examination after another for getting eligibility in the next procedure of recruitment. First of all, the applicants require cracking the Pre-examination which is conducted at online mode at different allotted examination centers. After clearing the prelims, the main examination will be conducted via online mode. After this, candidates will be selected for personal interview.

There are total 200 questions in each paper. Paper I comprises of questions from the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and General Intelligence. There are 50 questions in each section. Part II comprises of questions from English Language & Comprehension and Quantitative Methods. There are 50 questions in English Language & Comprehension and 50 questions from Quantitative Methods. There are 200 questions from Biological Sciences.

SSC FCI Recruitment Admit Card

Admit card is considered to be an integral part of SSC FCI. The admit card can be availed via online mode. Candidates will be notified at registered email ID and number. Candidates can download admit card from the official link for appearing in the examination.

The admit card consists of important information such as examination center, name and roll number of the candidate. It is essential to bring the admit card on the day of examination.

SSC FCI Recruitment Results & Score Card

The results for SSC FCI will be declared on the official website of SSC FCI. Candidates can find the results for FCI by entering their login credentials such as registration number and other required details. Candidates need to download the result for checking statement qualified and disqualified for the next main examination.
