ONGC Recruitment 2022 Eligibility criteria

In order to apply for the ONGC Recruitment, candidates must meet the required eligibility conditions which is prescribed by the organization. Eligibility Criteria varies for each job role in ONGC.

Educational Qualification:

  • For some job roles, candidates must have qualified in bachelor’s degree (three years) in concerned discipline from any recognized university.
  • Whereas for ONGC technical relevant jobs, candidates must have possessed bachelor’s degree in BE/B Tech with minimum 60% aggregate score in concerned stream (Mechanical, Petroleum, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Production)

ONGC Recruitment 2022 Application Form & fees

Candidates who meet the specified eligibility conditions, are eligible to apply the application form for the available vacancies in ONGC Recruitment 2021.Application forms are made available at the official website of ONGC organization (@www.ongcindia.com).Thus, applicants must register themselves by logging to the respective website through online mode.

How to apply for ONGC Recruitment 2021?

Check out the following steps in order to apply for the ONGC Recruitment via online

Step 1: At first, candidates required to log on for the official website (@ www.ongcindia.com)

Step 2: On home page, click on “Career” tab and then select the desired post

Step 3: Information Brochure will display on screen, read the instructions carefully and make sure the eligibility conditions and then proceed to click on “Apply online” tab

Step 4:  Then, page will direct to the Registration Window, candidates required to click on the link states “Click here for New Registration”

Step 5: Continue to enter the details such as Name, Valid Mobile Number, Email ID and the relevant details in order to complete registration process.

Step 6: Upon successful registration, candidates will receive unique registered ID & Password for their registered Email ID.

Step 7: By using those login credentials, candidates required to login application form portal. Upon the successful login, application form window will display on the screen.

Step 8: Thereafter, proceed to fill up all the necessary details which has been mentioned in ONGC application form. After filling up the required details, upload the scanned images of the photograph along with the signature in a prescribed format.

Step 9: Then, candidates required to pay the application fees according to the category wise and job role. ONGC Application fees varies for each different vacancy/job roles.

Step 10: Upon successful payment, submit the application form and take the print out of same and keep it for reference purpose.

ONGC Selection Process

Selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) entrance exam. For some ONGC Recruitment vacancies, authority will shortlist the candidates based on GATE scores and such candidates will be called for the further selection round namely personal interview round.

  • For some job roles, Non-GATE qualifiers are also eligible. In such cases selection of the candidates will be done by considering previous academic qualification and based on the performance in personal interview round
  • Shortlisted candidates need to carry the necessary educational documents (original) and must attend the interview session as per the prescribed time schedule.
  • It is important to note, candidates who are working in Public sector/Government need to submit the NOC (No Objection Certificate) which is declared by the respective organization.
  • For GATE qualifiers, final selection will be based on the Merit List and the list is prepared by considering certain parameters and its weightage.
